Just hilarious! Our #2 son is a vegetarian, but it isn't a religious thing with him, as it is with some of his friends in Austin, TX. He doesn't have a lot of use for that carp.
When he was home for three weeks at Christmas, he just fixed his own food, unless what I happened to be fixing was veggie. If the main dish wasn't veggie, he'd eat the side dishes, which usually were.

Wife’s boss, who is also a longtime neighbor and friend is a vegetarian. But she will eat fish and seafood. So when they come for Christmas (they’re sort of on our regular list), her husband usually brings something like Shrimp Creole.

A couple of years ago...back when the oven broke and the garage door broke and the car was broken down...remember that time? Back then, a couple in my Sunday School class, that also happen to be fellow CHEF members, gave us $200 for Christmas.
I never forgot that.
I just made a $200 donation to these guys in their honor.
