Actually they’re too big for me now; I’m down 30 pounds since New Years!
Well, I would if you needed me to.
~smooch~
Bravo!
Sheesh! Get a backgammon board...
Would be just like old times, eh? :~)
My new meds worked!!!!!
In less than 12 hours, my BP went from 144/104 to 90/60!
CRASH!!!
It’s a bit too much of a dive, so I’m taking it easy and waiting for instructions from my doctor. I imagine they’ll start weaning me off one of the other meds that didn’t have such a dramatic effect.
I feel weak...a bit short of breath...but awash with relief that I likely won’t be blowing a gasket. It’s been mostly high for the past three months and had me really worried.
Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement from everyone via freepmail and in the thread...hopefully the tide has turned.
~snif~
I hope this means you will soon be feeling a lot better. :~)
Missed you two in the ping to the update above...
Nephrologist started me on a new med and increased the dose on another one.
So now I’m taking:
Metoprolol 100mg twice a day
Lisinopril 20mg twice a day
Procardia XL 60mg once a day (new)
Catapres Patch TSS-2 once a week (increased)
Mmmmm.... backgammon...
ROFLOL!!
I just think the world of you...you have made me laugh out loud so many times.
Me too...I feel kinda woozy, but I guess that’s to be expected.
I’ve got to take Matthew to Latin this afternoon. Been coaching him on how to get car to the side of the road if I pass out. heh heh!!
Fortunately I’ve never ticked you off.
;-)
I wouldn’t want to make 2J mad either.
Eep. Maybe you should just let him drive :)
Glad your meds are finally working!
Thank God! Maybe now they can tailor the dosage and get things to normal.
Yeah, I'd never do that...
Great news! It always helps when you feel good, don’t it? ;o)
ROTFL!
