I’m having puppy guilt this morning.
Last night driving home there was a puppy (looked like a boxer) in the road. I don’t think he’d been hit, but the wind from the vehicles was making it hard for him to get up.
The car in front of me circled back around to check on him, so I didn’t stop. But I wish I had.
I’m a bad person.
BWAAHAAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!
Oh - I’m sorry. I’ve had similar enough regrets at times, but hopefully the other person was successful and you weren’t needed.
Good morning. :~)
Morning. There were 2 or 3 people in the other car, so I’m pretty sure they took care of it.
Just hope the little feller is okay.
Honestly, if it was night time, and I saw someone else stopping, I’d have done the exact same thing.
And then felt guilty about it...
Poor little guy...wonder how he ended up in that predicament.
There are several houses along the road there (it used to be 2 lane, now it’s 4-6 lanes. I’m assuming he got out from one of those.
Heh...

Finally some good news. Luke had an eye doctor appointment today. Wearing the patch is retraining his eye and he can go from 2 hrs. daily to 90 minutes.
If this improvement continues, we’ll avoid surgery.
WOOHOO!!!
Good news indeed. :~)
And we have South Park tonight, and LOST tomorrow.
And my stalls are clean. And my laundry is done.
We are awash in good news. :~)
It was in the 80s here today, the good news continues...
That's great news! But, does he look like a Baaad dude with the patch?
Very cool. Betcha he’s relieved at the news, too. I had to do the patch thing when I was little...I didn’t care for it much. In my case, I never did gain the ability to use both eyes together, but at least my left eye still works, mostly.
FWIW, one of my brothers had to have the surgery. It was pretty quick, even way back when. Not that that means it’d be cheap, but...
That's fantastic.
(enjoy it while it lasts...)
As, Hair says, we are awash in good news! Today, as I was going out to the car, a young pheasant hen was strolling along the sidewalk just like she belonged here! We live in downtown, she was miles from her habitat!! Hope she finds her way home before grey cat finds her. It was cool though.
And I was just starting to fix dinner and saw a rose-breasted grosbeak, guess they remembered the place from last year's migration. They are so beautiful and we only see them during migration.
It takes so little to make me happy
Following on the ‘awash’ with newz - have you checked the radar? or looked out the window? Appears more rain/thunder/lightning heading our way.
Yep. I’m a-hearing it now. So far no hail.
