Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Mornin’, all!
I stayed up too late watching - of all things - the Food Network. ;-) I are easily entertained, I think.
Then I dreamed about car research. Or was that dreaming? It all kind of blends together. :-\
I get some HD channels, so I guess I must have the HD version - it was the only DVR they offered.
My TV is barely capable of standard resolution, though, so it doesn’t make much difference to me...yet. The TVs kind of blurry, actually. But it’s nice to know HD is there for the future, I guess!
Anyone want a slightly used Siamese cat?
He’s about to drive me insane.
You know...this whole cable installation thing is missing something. I don’t have a dog to watch TV.
Comcast should offer Gidget-dogs as a premium option. They’re just so danged entertaining...
Still watching the Food Network. Mmm...cooking with wine.
I’m working my way through my Doctor Who library. Peter Davison just turned into Colin Baker.
I think the Peter Davison ones are the most recent I’ve seen, excepting the new ones.
Peter Davison couldn’t act, as I recall....
I don’t really remember much of the Colin Baker episodes and only a few of the Sylvester McCoy ones.
Guess I need more episodes. The new New Doctor is supposed to start up again sometime in April.
Heh... we do enjoy TV most when she is watching, it’s true :~)
I like the new New Doctor...a lot....
She’s one of the coolest dogs I know.
Even if she isn’t right in the head. ;-)
Thanks... for what credit I can take for having a cool dog. And I agree. :~) I don’t expect I’ll ever have another one like her.
Those Gallifreians sure are a gabby lot....
I keep yelling at him “Just shut up and DO it!”
I’m still mad at Peter Davison for not blowing Davros’ head off when he had the chance...weenie!
Hi there Dolly! It’s been a while since I watched any of the Movies. We have the extended versions of all three at home. I’ll just have to find a few hours over several days to watch one at a time.
Glad you had fun at the jam!
LOL! Oh, that’s good!
It was very cool - just a hugh room full of people with instruments. And most folks had music stands and written chords, so it was easy to follow along.
Just went out and did some initial wandering at the local auto mall place. I’m kind of rethinking the whole it-must-be-Toyota-or-Honda thing. Ouch. When their prices are more than half again what anything else in the same age range and mileage range costs...I dunno. I don’t know that they’re *that* much more dependable.
Ugh...apparently my driveway has been selected as the *perfect* spot for major truck surgery.
I think I’m gonna leave Cisco in the house while I’m at church so he doesn’t have a conniption fit.
I saw all that :~\ What’s up with that?
Hope Cisco’s OK in the house.
Oh, that’s just lovely!
