Now I start the rewrite. I am not thrilled with the ending, it was way too rushed, but it’s done.

I’ve been digging out music from my childhood (mostly Doc Watson) and reminiscing a bit. ;-) Dunno why.
I *will* finish this draft in March. I should hire a nag to make sure I do it! But I don’t think it’s gonna happen in February.

I’m s’posed to get to work early today, ‘cause the login process has changed slightly for one group. That was out yesterday. Having to log in differently on the Tuesday after a long weekend is bound to delight ‘em. Right? Right??
It just ain’t right that the left coast gets in here first in the mornin’.
To be fair, I was up earlier but had to meet with thetrainer. Then had to get Luke off to the nayber’s. He was movin’ slowly this morning.

Heh, Talon and I were just commenting this weekend about something with my parents being “Corinesque”. You’re a legend, man.
Actually my folks are having some wild times as foster parents... finally got the infant girl they signed up for to go with the two year old and the 15 year old. That one was a surprise, they weren’t planning on taking in older kids but - she’s our cousin (!) and we’re glad they have her.
I’ll tell you what, if there were ever someone who needed killing for what they did to their family, my aunt and uncle are prime candidates. Five kids between 21 and 15 and not one living with either parent. Other than the 16 year old living with her boyfriend that’s a good thing.
God bless your parents for what they’re doing.
We finished up our annual missions emphasis on Sunday and the pastor focused on one of our members who is from Brazil and is building a trade school there for the orphans that our church works with (where Jr. has gone for the last four years).
I found myself sitting there thinking...hmmmm...orphans...hmmm...foster care. I must be nuts.
I haven’t told the Mrs.
In good news, and a prayer request...Jr. has an interview with UPS tonight.

The flu...yuck...it’s goin’ around here like wildfire. We’re blessed not to have had it.

Me, I think they’re crazy. But it’s obvious now part of the why they were supposed to do this - when my cousin needed help, they were already certified as foster parents and still had one spare “allowed child” slot open for her. It makes me feel better about our other cousin, we would not have been allowed to foster him as the rules say no more than six children under 18 in the home, counting the foster-er’s own kids. So my folks are at capacity now.
My appointment’s not till 1pm!
I’m such a maroon.
