Now I’m trying to think what “raying for” someone would do.
It doesn’t sound like a friendly thing, ya know?
Very cool....... I note at the recent shot show SIG makes a 239 now in 45acp.......;o)
That’s on my short list for now.
Always a great post from you........thanks for the education tonight !
And speaking of that dying satellite, I think if you go to the Heavens Above homepage, it will give some info on that, too! I think they're supposed to shoot at it on Feb. 23rd. I'll have to tell Clare, since that's her birthday.
Cool. I can’t get that page set to show it from Richmond, but according to that track it’s goin’ right over my house tomorrow. I’m still debating whether or not to let Luke stay up and watch the lunar eclipse on Wednesday.
Morning Winmag - now that is an impressive looking weapon. Not sure I’d like to have it pointed at me, tear gas or not. Wonder if you shoot a flare from it. Not that I’d like to try.
In other news, Luke and I are up and ready for church.
Mrs. came home last night from her conference exhausted and with a bad cold. She had a glass of wine and took a Drixoral and a sleeping pill.
I told her if she wasn’t awake by Tuesday I’d call the paramedics.
Morning Squantos, as much as I’d like to see it happen, I’m pretty sure the Sigforum folks have concluded it was a misprint. Wonder if product development has one in the works. It would be on my short list as well. In other news I do have a P-220 conversion kit on order.
Sorry to hear the Mrs. has the bug. It’s starting to show up around here. The eclipse is always a good science project. We had a public hearing one afternoon/evening during a partial solar. We took turns going out to parking lot see it. Did the over the shoulder, business card pinhole technique. I think there were more ‘public’ outside in the parking lot than in the meeting hall.
Yeah, the eclipse would be great. And we could get out his telescope. Problem is, I think it’s either 10 or 11 p.m. on Wednesday night. We’ll see.
Morning ALL - well, the rain has tapered off, and now it’s snowing. Estimated accumulation range from 0-2”; 2-4” or 4-6”. YMMV
Gypsy was a bit confused about the white stuff but found the bunny tracks easily. She also did her snow angel. Napping now, her work here is done.
I haven’t seen the tetra in days...
No white stuff here. Sam was only concerned when I made him leave the bedroom this morning.
Abby cat is out and roaming. We’re still putting her in at night, just in case. But she’s coming back nicely.
(later)
Well there’s only a few places he could be. :~]
Glad Abby’s doing better!
Need coffee here.
I think it changed over some time between 6 and 7....coming down steady now. The dogs that I’ve seen out on their morning constitutionals have all seemed happy about it.
Hmmmm....the Daytona 500 and snow....
Looks pinker than the last batch, and less orange. I like it!
Mmm...strawberry shortcake...
Izzit June yet?
Heh, you are right. Miss Gypsy enjoyed her walk, we walked and got a paper. Her back was all white by the time we got home. Folks are driving, imho, too fast for conditions.
Watching Daytona 500 in the sunroom with a 180 degrees view of the snowfall. Waaay cool.
Don’t have to wait for June to get NAFTA strawberries.
