I’m starting to ponder that. But on the other hand, I’ve really only taken it in for work once or twice a year at most during the entire over-five-years I’ve owned it. And a lot of what’s getting done today is replacing parts that they generally recommend doing at 100k. It’s at 125k. So I guess it’s not out of the realm of the reasonable.

Even a really cheap used car is likely to be more than a hundred bucks a month. And there’s no guarantee it won’t need repairs on top of that.

I come from a background where we typically drove cars until they completely wore out...so I dunno when it’s reasonable to move on. :-\

There’s just that dry, powdery snow blowing around. When’s the sun supposed to come out again? 16 degrees here and I’m afraid to open the gas bill.

I fergit you tend to drive it a while with all them noises. ;-)

Seriously, you know what's best. Not having a car payment is a good thing.

Whenever the possibility of getting stranded on the side of the road is worth the cost of a new car.

Honestly... If you were on your own somewhere without help nearby, I'd worry more. But as long as you're willing to sit by the side of the road till you can get ahold of me or ecurbh... keep driving it till it breaks. :~)

I just almost always think something is wrong with it...so I’m always worrying. ;-) I’m not sure I’d be any different with another vehicle. Even with the Corolla, that had precisely one repair the whole time I owned it, I still worried at times. And I blab about it here.

I do sometimes think about trading it in on a smaller, newer car. But having a van is convenient, and the lack of a car payment is awfully nice.

But anyway... when/if you see a missed call on your cell phone, that was us about the cat situation.

Yeah, as much as I love thetruck, every now and then I think something smaller and cheaper would be nice.

But we gotta replace theminivan first. Mrs. is puttin’ a lot of miles on it with work.

Heh...yeah, speaking of stranded by the side of the road...I forgot my cell phone today. Go figure.

Was it just to say that there was a loose Siamese?

I’m really curious about it now!

We’re currently at no car payments. It’s nice. Not sure how long that situation will last... until the battlecruiser dies or we need a kidmobile probably...

Yeah - It was to ask if yours had any white feet, before I went over to the house, because this one did. I didn’t think yours did. Other than white on the toes, it looked just like yours.

Well, it would turn and stop every time I called, it's somebody's pet, I think if there wasn't so much commotion (Gidget was out there, and our two cats) it might have come to me.

So get off work early and go check in the woods between us... that's where it went. :~)

Heh, well I made them with King Arthur White Whole Wheat Flour, so the Glycemic Load is a little lower. I figured out the Weight Watchers points and each 7” waffle is only 6 points! I didn’t put as much butter in them as I had in the past. ;o)
