How about the press release by the 400 or so Scientists that have doubts on GW?
You can find it on YouTube here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzSzItt6h-s
It’s also on Google video...just search for “Global warming swindle”
“The great global warming swindle” was produced by Britain’s channel four, so it should be “acceptable”. I know it used to be available from YouTube, but I think it might have been pulled for legal reasons.
I’d be interested to see that list of “approved sites” that the school provided.
There are several freepers that keep a list of GW links and post them on GW-related articles. Perhaps do a search on “global warming” and you’ll run across those postings and links.
So does this list of "accepted web sites" include any that might have an opposing view to Global Warming? Why do I feel like I would be surprised if it does?
Surely JPL & NASA are acceptable sources.
~~Anthropogenic Global Warming ping~~
There’s a marvelous book for students called “The Sky’s Not Falling” that he could use, but I don’t remember the author’s name. Also, the scientists who wrote “Unstoppable Global Warming—Every 1500 years” have a website also, I believe. “Cool It”, by Bjorn Lomborg probably has some good links as well. I also recommend the BBC transcript of the UK judge’s opinion on Algore’s movie and how there are so many inconvenient lies. . .lol!
xcamel, can you help out here with some good links that will likely get approved?
Buy a copy of Michael Crichton’s “State of Fear”.
It is a fictional story but it is full of data with complete source references.
Have you seen this essay at Climate Skeptic?
“A Layman’s Guide to Man-Made Global Warming”
It’s very well done. A youtube video link with all the graphs is halfway down the page:

He can only use accepted web sites on a list from the school...which means, the school will be listing only those which support the agenda of the global warming demagogues.
Here's a list of climate change skeptical sites that are relatively intelligent:
Bump—I have some sources at home I’ll post later.
Wait. Let me guess. All the “acceptable” sites are pro-global warming?
These first two appear particularly useful for debunking the human influence on global warming:

These are reference data sites, not anti-global warming at all, but contain lots of data and graphs:

Here’s a New York Times article to Google:
“Has It Been This Warm Before,” Brenda Fowler, The New York Times Wed, Oct 5, 1991 (?)
Some interesting Time magazine covers:
September 10, 1945: “The World is Sizzling!”
January 31, 1977: “The Big Freeze”
April 3, 2006: “Be Worried, Be VERY Worried”
Hope it helps.
Nothing like telling you to find information that supports your side and then telling you where you can look.
Seems like a scam to me.
Good luck!
