Really?

McCain's lifetime ACU rating is 82 - dozens of points higher than the nearest "conservative Democrat."

Here's his platform. Tell me which positions the Democrats are in line with.

I keep reading this trot about his ACU rating, but have you actually checked his record since 2000, it is in a liberal toilet. WHERE have you been since the voters rejected him in 2000?

Here it is since 1997

97=80

98=68

99=71

00=81

01=68

02=78

03=84

04=72

05=80

06=65

07=amnesty bill so I would guess it wont be good.

By the way in 96 it was 95 and in 1995 he rated a 91.

The trend is that he has "progressed" and "grown" in his years in DC.

Yea, but his rating for 2006 is 65. That's a big difference. I have a feeling it'll be similar or lower when the '07 numbers come out...

McCain altered his platform to conform with more moderate Republicans, but you can’t really trust him to stick with it. He still refuses to admit that opposing the Bush tax cuts was a mistake. He won’t say that his amnesty bill was a mistake, either. He justs says that it didn’t pass, so he has to try something else. His campaign finance reform was a bill aimed at disenfranchising the grassroots conservatives, whom McCain blamed for his 2000 loss. His gang of 14 was another maneuver that was aimed at weakening the conservative Republicans.

Basicly, McCain is king of the RINOS.

For one, the dems want to “close” the so-called and non-existent “gun show ‘loophole’”, as does McCain.
