I just decided..if it gets there..McCain for me.. He seems the only one with America truley imbeded in his heart. His blood flowed for that America. A good staff will provide the rest.......
Hey Leni, hi!
If we can blunt Rudy here in Florida the primary will take on an entirely different complexion.
Fred!
>It appears we are watching the advent of freepers with a new hybrid brand of conservatism, that’s for sure.
Good Lord, yes we are. We used to call them “Democrats.”
I'm gearing up for the campaigning of my life now the holidays are over. I think we can do really well here on the central gulf coast.
I'm sure other freepers will be working other areas including the all-important I-4 Corridor.
Probably the New York condo commandos in the southeast Florida counties will be tough.....but if we're successful in most of the rest of the Sunshine State, we can write off Chad Heaven and not worry too much about it.
Freezing here in the Clearwater area right now.....paging AlGore, paging AlGore, press your panic button, NOW!
Leni
No, Rush is well more than that, and respectfully, you know it.
You can’t compare Rush and his political acumen and gravitas to a second rate Hollywood entertainer like Billy crystal, or even Brittney Spears.
I hear from a couple of friends on the SW coast that Mitt is pretty well liked there.
Thats okay. In fact, I’m counting on it to help dilute the support for Rudy and counter his supporters, which, as you stated, are probably pretty well entrenched in the SE area and inner city WPB.
I don’t know much about the I-4 dynamic, but Fred is going to get some real support from the Treasure Coast if I have anything to say about it. :)
Seriously, I hardly know a jeep from a hearse, but that is one bee-you-ti-ful set of wheels you have.
Good luck laboring in the orangeyard for the good guys when the hard campaigning gets in gear after the conventions.
Leni
For one, the dems want to “close” the so-called and non-existent “gun show ‘loophole’”, as does McCain.
John McCain or his son?
I just don’t know that I could bring myself to vote for McCain... Ever, under any circumstances.
Between the Amnesty issue for illegal aliens, the “Gang of 14,” McCain/Feingold, and of course, the “Keating Five,” there’s just too much there for me to deal with...
But especially McCain/Feingold CFR...

In fact, it took all of it.
Just because one has served honorably, or even with distinction or heroism doesn't always keep one from being a scumbag later on...
If I remember correctly, Timothy Mcveigh was awarded the bronze star during the first gulf war... But more to the point, Benedict Arnold was far more of a "war hero" that McCain. In fact, the point could be made that if not for Arnold's leadership, the Continental Army might well have been defeated, ending the dream of an independent United States of America.
But I'd dare say that the vast majority of people in the US have no idea of what Benedict Arnold was, other than a traitor.
Mark
OK I will rethink it plenty of time.....Thanks for the informative banter..EOM
