Possibly. Although I'm wondering which AP voters (listed here) would vote USC #1 and what it would take to do that? Craig James, who was one of the commentators for the pre game and post game segments of the Rose Bowl shot down any notion that he would vote SC #1, since he has a vote in the AP poll.
