**Ladies and Gentlemen...it's the FR College Football 2007-08 Bowl Games Thread**

Posted on 12/19/2007 1:19:19 PM PST by GOP_Raider

It's the most wonderful time of the year...With my Utes winning bowl games and BYU losing so I'll be of good cheer...it's the most wonderful time of the year...

--Ow! Tomatoes hurt you know. Sheesh...

During the regular season, I would normally do my fancy and mildly humorous graphical elements and those of you who would like me to feature their school's games, I would oblige. However, since we've got miles to go before we sleep, I'll re-ping the list as we go along and include said graphics. Sound like a deal? Excellent.

Tomorrow the fun will begin. (For me, at least). :)

Now it’s over.

With a final score
Utah 35
Navy 32

Midshipmen played a wail of a game tonight.

What a game! Navy got hosed on that replay of the pylon. That was Navy ball on the 20.

On this, I agree. If I were a referee in that situation, that’s probably how I would have called it.

Looks like I went to bed too early. Utah played a great game and I’ll always be in love with that Navy spirit!

It looks like something you’d find in a funeral home.

RIP Lloyd Carr.

National championship tickets going for $ 1500 - $ 4000 in the stands. LA politicians (reps/senators) get to buy 6 at face value, while 27 year ticket holders, like my cousins, get nothing. This is really pissing off LSU fans. Media is getting involved exposing fan ripoff.

Picture in paper showed Chancellor Bozo in a suit at the crime scene last Friday, in the middle of the night, talking on his cell phone. Probably calling his lawyer.

Geaux Tigers, but screw the LSU administration. May their family all have stockings full of coal.

I have a friend who is an LSU grad who bought Sugar Bowl tickets thinking LSU would be playing there. She couldn’t get BCS tickets for any amount. I’m an Auburn grad who cheers for the SEC team in any game except against Auburn.

Thanks everyone! I was sweating most of the second half of that game, but of all our opponents this year, Navy played us the hardest, IMO.

Okay, it's going on right now, but if you like offense and some mediocre special teams coverage, it's...

Florida Atlantic vs. Memphis in the R+L Carriers N'Awlins Bowl If you go to ESPN2, it'll be there. Now if you're like me--and really, who hasn't wanted to be?--you have one question: "What exactly is R+L Carriers?" Well, hopefully you'll trust this link with all your delivering of things needs.

As an FYI: Memphis is the alma mater of one Fred Thompson.

TD Florida Atlantic. The fireworks are underway...

Thanks for the reminder. Now I've got a rooting interest.

BTW, thanks for a season of great threads and congratulations to your Utes for completing what must be one of the top five Poinsettia Bowl finishes of all time!

Thanks, I genuinely appreciate that.

It’s not every day you get to win a Poinsettia Bowl either, so all in all its been a good day. :)

Memphis does come back down to score, but FAU runs back a big kickoff return well into Tiger territory.
