**Ladies and Gentlemen...it's the FR College Football 2007-08 Bowl Games Thread**

Posted on 12/19/2007 1:19:19 PM PST by GOP_Raider

It's the most wonderful time of the year...With my Utes winning bowl games and BYU losing so I'll be of good cheer...it's the most wonderful time of the year...

--Ow! Tomatoes hurt you know. Sheesh...

During the regular season, I would normally do my fancy and mildly humorous graphical elements and those of you who would like me to feature their school's games, I would oblige. However, since we've got miles to go before we sleep, I'll re-ping the list as we go along and include said graphics. Sound like a deal? Excellent.

Tomorrow the fun will begin. (For me, at least). :)

How about the UT ball boy going on the field and touching a fumble. LOL

It’s never a good sign when your ball boy might possibly let the opposing team back into the game.

ASU really needed a TD instead of a FG off that McCoy fumble.

The ball boy who touched the fumble is the head coach’s stepson. LOL

Man, this has been one of the sloppiest games I’ve seen in a very very long time.

Continuing the conversation we had last night, I don’t mind high scoring games as long as it isn’t sloppy. Tonight’s game IMO has been rather sloppy.

Well, after the Motor City Bowl and the Poinsettia Bowl it may have felt like we had suddenly found ourselves in a wonderful, magical world where all college football is great college football, but tonight’s Holiday Bowl has brought us back down to Earth indeed.

Since Texas won the Longhorn fans will look back at that play and laugh. If they’d lost....well he might as well not join the team on their flight home.

Hi GOP_Raider, is wondering if we have any college football games season/bowl games season posters who are the fans of UWV Mountaineer fans? Want to wish them all the best for sucess in the Festia Bowl after I found out that another poster, Bosco is an OSU fan, his team going into the Bowl Championship. Thanks for your response and happy new year 2008. :)

I was in and out last night. Only saw parts of the game.

I did see the controversial fumble though. I don’t think the guy from Texas did actually touch it though.

Rudy Carpenter looked very beat up last night, a combination of shooting his mouth off at the Longhorns and a bad O-line.

I’d like to see the Texas Bowl tonight because I kinda like the Univ of Houston - even though Kevin Kolb is no longer with them. Houston likes to run the high-octane offense. But the game is on the friggin’ NFL Network - so no dice.

The Emerald Bowl has potential. If nothing else, the commercials are funny.

UT played very well last night. ASU got exposed a couple of times defensively in the Pac-10 this year (particularly against USC) but regardless, exceeding the half a hundred mark was very impressive.

“It’s never a good sign when your ball boy might possibly let the opposing team back into the game”

Hey, he made it on ESPN Sports Center! He and Mack swear he didn’t touch the ball.

When they were showing the replay, I could see about a dozen feet on the field. WTF?
