Neither is Brady Anderson. Or Jason Varitek. Those are the only ones I’ve look for so far.
I’d say that NBC list is a load of crap.

The report says only that Sosa was sent a letter asking him to come in for an interview. No evidence against him is presented.

PUJOLS IS NOT LISTED! He's one of the errors in the since retracted initial listing. I downloaded the 409 page final PDF and can search it and his name doesn't show up! I also searched for Cardinals and again found no Pujols! I think the only Cards mentions who are on their current 40 man roster are Ankiel, of whom Mitchell just repeated what we already know (MLB closed their investigation of him without taking any action) and Ryan Franklin.
GO CARDINALS

Mitchell? Isn’t he the RAT hack who made a big hash of his political career and has been honored as some kind of expert in everything for years by the RATs and the Drive Bys? I seem to remember his many gaffs as a pol and as a graft taker par excellence.
To: Eric Blair 2084
Before this, I had felt sorry that Pujols had been cheated out of the MVP award for a couple years by Barry Bonds. Now I no longer feel sorry for him. BTW, who came in 2nd in the voting for the AL Cy Young award when Clemens won it in 2003? That guy got cheated by Clemens.

That is my question. How did George Mitchell know these people are taking drugs? Whom did he interview? It is my understanding that he only talked to one player personally. What proof is he offering? Why did this report cost millions of dollars?

I’d never for one moment thought Bonds, Clemens and McGwire would be on that list.

Now it’s reported that Pujols in NOT on the list? That would be nice.

Mitchell’s response to this was to say, simply: move on, do not punish them for past use, to move on. The typical dimocrat response to everything. Since Mitchell is a dimocrat and baseball’s union is strongly union and thus dimocrat supporting, then this is typical response. NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN, NOTHING IS GOING TO BE DONE. THEY GOT AWAY WITH IT. THAT SIMPLE, THEY GOT THEIR MILLIONS, THEY GOT THEIR AWARDS, THEY GOT AWAY WITH IT. Move on. Forget it. Shoot em up and let em play. That is what Amerika wants. Let em kill them selves. Let them cause their own children turn out deformed because of their stupidity. It is their own fault. I am sick of professional sports. Sick of ESPN and their ass kissing of the sports and the liberal reporters in ESPN. I am tired of MLB, NFL, NBA, etc. They make me sick.

The list seems weighted toward former players - leading one to wonder whether a bit of a whitewash is taking place.

Wonder if a list with some intentionally wrong names was used at some point to figure out who a leaker was.
To: murron
The report is huge, but just by scanning it, it looks like it was interviewing people, the Balco mess, and some other means.
As for proof, I saw a couple scans of cancelled checks, money orders, and delivery receipts (FedEx, UPS)

It’s nice to know that the players involved were dumb enough to pay for their steroids by check.
