My Dragonfly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

As I remember it took a lot of cloth to start off with before there was a finished product. She would go shopping with her friends and come back to the apartment with yards and yards of cloth. She forgot her dress making talent once we returned to the US.

Who is Trike? They can be stupid but they're awfully strong.
Did you see the one that caught the sub?

It is California, isn’t it? Who could say if the dog people had great representation they would’ve won in that state.

“Who is Trike?”
A cranky old Curmudgeon, Navy veteran, bike builder. The nickname ‘Trike’ comes from the V-8 trike motorcycles he seems compelled to build. He is an opinionated cuss, a staunch conservative, a crusty fellow, and a lover of wine, homemade beer, cigars, good food (he cooks you know), and old time rock and roll. He’s a poet, a painter, a photo-nut, and a writer. He’s also a cranky old Minister who remembers his wilder days and smiles, shaking his head at the crazy life he has led. You might know the cuss, he’s also known as Wayzatajohnn by more normal folks.
I heard about the bear that caught the sub, he went crazy trying to figure out how to eat the dang thing.

You build bikes. For fun or profit. I gave up riding a few years ago after an accident. It wasn’t serious, but I’d been riding since a youngster and traffic around here isn’t as sane as it used to be.
Tell me about your bikes.

Trikes, three wheeled motorcycles with car engines, automatic transmissions, and great for the older biker.

427 Hemi machine

Weird Idea
I no longer have the shop, o the next one I build will be the hardest yet to get finish. I wished I could build them as a product for the older biker, I built them for around $5,000 to $10,000 and sold them for $30,000 to $35,000.

Doing fine. Thanks. Doing a little bit of both. I have learned to never try to avoid trouble because it always finds you somehow. How are you doing? Those are some nice looking bikes.

I’m doing fine, tired a bit, but still plugging on. Got another chapter in the new book done.
I was a professional mechanical designer for some 14 years, I ought to be able to build a decent machine by now. With the huge number of pending retirees, I bet an ‘older guy’s Trike’ would be a seller. Fun to ride, stable as hell, and with pretty good mileage (40-45 MPG with the V-8’s) and I have a an idea for a design for a Hybrid drive Trike that would push 100 MPG, highway speed of around 70, and cost around $20,000 retail. I’ve even worked out an electronic controlled system to lean the rear wheels into the curve to give two wheel stability to a three wheeled machine. Improves safety and handling, and allows even higher road speeds with improved control and braking. If I ever find a backer, you can help me build them and sell them, ought to be fun for a couple of crazies like us!

Oh, it’s just the normal Left-Coast ‘eco-spinning’ to get the pre-determined result. Same Old S....
...On different day, these same people would have been rioting in the streets claiming that the dogs had ‘rights’ and that HUMANS were a pox on the environment and that the dogs SHOULD be allowed to run undisturbed on public, OR on (other’s) private property, all in the name of ‘habitat protection’.
These people are not ABOUT environmentalism... they ARE about HYPOCRISY.
