[Soaring Feather]

My Dragonfly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Yum, dinner sounds delicious.

Very unique way to celebrate ones birthday! Not the naked part but the street dancing probably was a bit much, it was cold too, wasn’t it?? LOL

You’ve never nude clog danced? I didn’t realize how sheltered a life you’ve led there in monastery. Its very invigorating, very freeing to the psyche, and give you a chance to sweat out the poisons of our culture in an uninhibited and low cost way to improved mental health.

Mr Snowman

All alone, a snowman stands, staring out at the world. What a life! Short, cold, freezing really, rigidly waiting for the 'melting' feeling to arrive. The children have made him as comfortable as they can. A nice bright red check scarf, a carrot nose, which he can nibble on, if he gets a bit peckish! Nice black velvet hat, which he feels is worth having, cos it makes him feel important, and keeps his head warm! They usually build him a friend, someone he can chat to, but not this year. Apart from a robin who sings, way up above his head, in the holly bush, he's alone, and time hangs heavily upon him, especially when the long nights descend. But, he's just a snowman, a no-man, yet he gives the children such pleasure, which cheers his chilly heart and makes his 'life' worthwhile. Ernestine Northover
