The Dragonflie's Lair~Thread XLV
Poets of The Lair | November 30, 2007 | Soaring Feather

My Dragonfly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

That’s why guys have nicknames. Practicality. To shorten the task at hand.

Here is a treat, try it yourselves and enjoy.

Deviled Chicken with Roasted Vegetables

Ingredients
• 1 whole chicken
• 1 head fennel
• 2 zucchinis
• 3 carrots
• 2 stalks celery
• 1/2 teaspoon oregano
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Cooking Instructions
Start by cutting up a whole chicken.
Cut the breast pieces in half with a heavy, sharp knife.
Wash your hands and board with hot water and soap after handling the raw poultry.
Start by brushing mustard on the skin side of each piece.
Place the pieces in a plastic bag and refrigerate for at least one hour but up to 24 hours.
Next clean and slice a head of fennel and remove the core and continue slicing the bulb.
Now slice zucchinis, carrots, and celery.
Place all the cut vegetables into a baking pan and toss with oregano, salt, and pepper.
Now remove the chicken from the plastic bag and place over the vegetables and season the meat with salt and pepper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375 F for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 170 degrees.

I would assume that you have Contact Data, appointments and such stored on your phone. If you are using MS Office Outlook, it makes it easier to download / upload from your phone to computer instead of “Hotsync” through a cable.

- Home Fried Potatoes
- Whole Wheat Pancakes
- Hot Oatmeal
- Toasted White, Wheat, Rye or 7 Grain Bread

- Freshly squeezed Orange Juice
- Bananas, Green Seedless Grapes, Grapefruit and Apples
- Cinnamon Buns
- White or Chocolate Milk
- Dark and Rich Columbian Coffee
- Hot Chocolate

Bon Appetit,

Chef Tude

~Wishing The Lair A Warm Cozy Lord's Day~
It's a chilly 28 degrees outside but no wind is blowing.
Raccoons are fed and I'm making country sausage and southern
cream gravy for breakfast.
