Above all else, they were not and are not conservatives dedicated to limited, constitutional government.

Neocons are basically domestic liberals who are not pu$$ies on foreign policy. The pro-Rudy crowd that used to infect FR were neocons and always got extremely defensive about the term. "Oooooh, you used the word 'neocon'! You hate Jews!"

"Above all else, they were not and are not conservatives dedicated to limited, constitutional government."

Ah, the old diversion tactic. The rest of what you say is classical tin-foil hat garbage.

Attempts to separate a desire to fight our enemies militarily with a desire for limited government works on other forums, but not this one.

Try moveon or DUmmies. They might buy this crap, but none of us do.

"In regards to dealing with strangers on an Internet message board? Yes."

I don't consider the few of you Prawntards as strangers, but I do consider you STRANGE...and no, that is not a joke.

Trolls are dealt with appropriately here. The few remaining Prawntards here are simply chew toys for us normal Freepers until they get the hint and "moveon" to moveon or whatever suicide hell hole will take them.

"We could play a game with this speech, who said it, Ron Paul, Alex Jones, or Cindy Sheehan."

Remember when...Prawned Paul followed Cindy Sheehan on Alex Jones' show when the Prawned one propagated Cindy Sheehan's "Gulf of Tonkin" spook conspiracy regardign the US/Iran standoff.

Clearly you are a victim of some community college Poli Sci 101 class right?

On the first part, you take the NYT/CNN/ABC/CNN/CBS/MSNBC/MOVON propagandized spew which is designed to mask...the second part of your statement.

Anyone else notice that the Ron Paul divide falls about the year 2000?

Yeah. Actually we had more with Bush-era dates but they have wisely withdrawn and watch quietly to avoid the zot. But many of them are supporting Ron Paul in the campaign. Just not here.

Some of the others with newer dates kind of opused out, not caring that much for a restricted speech forum and I think it had something to do with all the bans a few years back of those who opposed the invasion of illegals. Kind of a cumulative thing they had about free speech in general. There are lots of free places to post now. FR is no longer the only conservative forum on the internet though it's probably still the largest.

There are considerable numbers of FReepers supporting Ron Paul. Quietly.

FR and many FReepers have banked a lot on Fred Thompson. If he can't make it, are they ready for Mitt? How about Rudi, eh?

Of course. I appreciate your removing it.

My apologies. I rarely make such observations public.

"Well, I AM unusually well endowed."

Perhaps the wrong head is getting all of the blood?

It would explain the Ron Paul dementia.

If it's Rudy vs. Hillary, I'd love to see Paul jump in. Can you imagine how fun FR would become?

I can't even imagine. Yeow. 90% of the forum would be banned. All that would be left in the rubble would be pictures of Rudi in a dress and Viking Kitties.

No, that's not right either. Well, whatever it would look like wouldn't be pretty.

Could you word that a bit differently? I'm honestly not getting your point. What was so objectionable about the definition I used? If you go back to older FR threads, the people screaming the loudest about criticism of neo-conservatism were the same freepers who now are all about Rudy and have mostly since moved on to other forums. How do you define neoconservatism?

I swear, if somehow it comes down to Rudy vs. Hillary vs. Paul, the glory-day FR threads on McClintock/Arnold, Schiavo, the drug war, and evolution are alll going to look like tea parties.

jmc813 spews: "Neocons are basically domestic liberals who are not pu$$ies on foreign policy."

Part 1) "Neocons are basically domestic liberals"

Part 1 is a typical propaganda ploy to attempt to divide Conservatism. It uses the term "neocon" for one, and secondly, the "domestic liberal" claim is a pure lie.

Part 2) "who are not pu$$ies on foreign policy"

Actually, you goof up by admitting that the non-suicide position, or as you would call it, the "neocon" position is "not pussies".

If it is not such, what is the alternative?

Anyway, the point is, Paultards always try masking their suicide positions with false claims of "neocons are domestic liberals" spew when things get too hot for them.

Ron Paul is NOT a Conservative, thus cannot be "paleo", "neo" or whatever other stupid hyphanated name that can be invented.

What do you personally call someone like Giuliani?

Actually, you goof up by admitting that the non-suicide position, or as you would call it, the "neocon" position is "not pussies".

I didn't goof up at all. I mostly agree with the neocons on foreign affairs.

Anyway, the point is, Paultards always try masking their suicide positions with false claims of "neocons are domestic liberals" spew when things get too hot for them.

I don't agree with Paul on foreign policy, therefore what exactly am I trying to mask?

Ron Paul is NOT a Conservative, thus cannot be "paleo", "neo" or whatever other stupid hyphanated name that can be invented.

I disagree. Even though he's out to lunch on one issue, the fact remains that he's staunchly pro-life, an absolutionist on the 2nd Amendment and committed to smaller government. You seem to think that foreign policy is a litmus test for conservatism. Taken to the logical conclusion, would you consider Bill Clinton to be "conservative"? President Bush?
