We went to Best Buy earlier, and I had a nice talk with a salesman about high-end front-loading washing machines.
Love those front loaders though. Our washer/dryer is still only a few years old. Assuming they survived the trip up from Texas in functional condition, we probably won't bother to replace them.
Don't they have one that uses some kind of steam? Supposedly works quite well...
Front loaders are the way to go. More expensive, but more water efficient and cleans clothes better. My next washer will be a front loader.
