I wasn’t keeping track, but I think you’re right. They had food, so I don’t why Shannon has to lick me!

Morning, all, from the household of ill-health.
More snow came down last night, as indicated by the inches-high collections on railings, but on flat surfaces it seems to be only about an inch or two.

Scary down there in the Lower Levels.
You ain't kiddin'....I lost my buck knife down there awhile back...haven't seen it since....but every now and then I wake up cleanly shaven...

Good morning! *Another* cold a.m. with catz on my pillow! Good morning! I see I'm not the only one. I wake up most mornings with catz clinging to me like they're made of velcro. Not helping my allergies much when they wave their fluffy tails right under my nose.

We’ve already ventured out, and safely returned.
No big deal, actually. All the precip evaporated on its way down. It is a bit chill and gloomy.
Walmart was fairly empty when we got there, but security has been tightened. I guess that’s a seasonal thing.
In regard to the lower levels, I would hasten to assure our new arrivals that the warnings refer to the lower levels of the Flying Castle habitat, and not Habitats A and B.
With our cylindrical elevator ways, it is possible for some of the inhabitants to find their way elsewhere, but they seem to not care for the environments there.
The first place they would reach is the Thrust Ring, which is not very accommodating to their requirements. This tends to keep them somewhat confined.
Besides, they don’t like the bright lights and all the frenetic activity they find elsewhere. They think we’re scary.

So cold here, the thermometer for the Atomic Clock quit working. Have to put that on the worklist.

Really? We’ve got steady rain, about 36 degrees.
We might get out of the house later and go to Crystal Mountain for a burger. I’m not well enough for skiing yet, besides I don’t ski in storms.

I think we’re just in the snow zone; further east it shows rain. Its 34F outside, so I don’t expect this to last.
But it’s coming down petty hard...

I just looked at the radar, and the rain/snow line seems to be right over my house. If the blue part slides southwest a bit, we’ll start getting snow.
Why couldn’t Seattle get snow on a weekday?! It’s fun to be at work and watch cars slide sideways down Madison toward Eliot Bay, pinging off parked cars as they go.

I think it was three years ago when we got several inches downtown... I made it in because I have a four-wheel drive and I take the train, but most people didn’t so not much work got done.
It took awhile for the city to get with the program and close the hilly streets (Spring, Seneca, Madison...). Until they did, we amused ourselves watching pedestrians and cars slide around.
I had sense enough to wear appropriate shoes, so my walk from the bus to the office was uneventful. I was amazed how many women were tottering around in the snow in spike heels.
I missed all the fun last year, since I was in DC. Y’all got more snow in downtown Seattle last year than DC got through February.

I'm amazed people try those streets in the snow.
Just re-checked and we're in a "mixed" zone. I guess it's the higher elevation that keeps it as snow, but it's a wet snow so it won't last long.

Hi, Gang!
I’m here, finally. I’ve got T-h-e S-l-o-w-s today. Again. Maybe I need something to eat?
