Whats Your Favorite (Or Least Favorite) New TV Show Of This Season? (Vanity)
Posted on 10/23/2007 4:59:20 PM PDT by proudofthesouth
With all the bad news coming out of California I thought a frivolous topic might be in order.
What is your favorite or least favorite of the new television season?
I have two shows that I look forward to each week:
The Big Bang Theory (Mondays on CBS) and Samantha Who with Christina Applegate (Mondays on ABC)
I have an extremely dry sense of humor and both of these shows just crack me up (especially Big Bang Theory).

The only TV shows I currently watch are few; "The Unit", "Heroes" and "Stargate: Atlantis".
I tried to get into "Journeyman" but got bored real fast.
My one guilty pleasure in SitComs is "How I Met Your Mother".
None of the new shows this season are very good at all.

Tom Selleck is on Vegas this season (Fridays, NBC). Plays a conservative rancher turned casino hotel owner. The stories vary in quality from week to week, but it is good to see a conservative actor working.

“Samantha Who with Christina Applegate (Mondays on ABC)”
I watch anything with her in it, but I turn the sound off. Easy on the eyes.

As far as new shows, I also like TBBT and Bionic Woman is pretty good. All the others I like are returning shows. :)

I liked
Mad Men on AMC. Missed the first few, but caught up on all of the episodes. The season is over as of last week. I'll have to wait until next summer for new episodes.

The History channel, The Discovery channel, fox news, The weather channel and the comedy channel(sometimes) Lib comics don’t amuse me. REGULAR NETWORK TV ROTS YOUR CHILDRENS MINDS!

I like Chuck, Cane, Boston Legal and Bionic Woman. But I kinda got angry at Bionic woman. In one show, she said, “You can’t do this to me! I’ll call Hillary on you.” I thought to myself “Ugg, I am trying to get away from politics.”
Leftist Hollywood always tries to put their agenda in one way or the other.

I can’t believe you people are watching television when Free Republic is available! Isn’t there some kind of regulation that you can only watch TV when FR is down?

If you like dry humor then you might check out
Reaper on the CW. It's got a nice sense of humor that makes you think a bit before you get it.
Pushing Daisy's has a nice wacked-out sense of humor which I like. The only new show I also like which seems mainstream is Chuck. Other than those three it's football and The History Channel.

How about the Viagra commercials during primetime news? I change the channel back to HGTV. Absolutely disgusting!

Never miss NCIS. Yeah, I know, it’s in it’s 5th season but who’s counting. Also like CSI:Las Vegas, DWTS and House. Sometimes Bones. None of the new shows were riveting enough to stay with through the hour/half hour.

The 'Viva Viagra' commercial, with the overage enthusiastic rockers is not bad. When it comes to shows, I've been watching Damages, on FX, ends tonight. Glenn Close and a great cast as trial lawyers who KILL people to win a lawsuit!!
To: proudofthesouth
I love the new show “Damages.” Glenn Close plays an evil woman so well and in this show she reminds me of Hillary Clinton - soulless, ruthless, heartless, scheming and downright evil.
