And I still think he was given chloral hydrate in something he drank.
When I worked in a hospital many years ago, there was a little door in each hallway. It was a chute to an incinerator.
I remember it because one of the nuns took a "dirty book" from an old man (before viagara) and threw it down the chute.
I honestly don’t think chloral hydrate had entered the picture yet at that point. I don’t think *that* bright idea came to KE until a couple of days later, possibly at ANS’s suggestion or just because of Marilyn talk around the Daniel burial negotiations. I think it was “Anna-specific,” anyway.
One thing I’ve been thinking about, though - remember when Dr KE sent the fax to Kapoor a week after this (Daniel’s death), saying the docs in The Bahamas hadn’t given Anna enough - or any - painkillers after the C-section?
It makes me wonder if maybe Daniel was used as the “mule” to get some methadone from KE/Kapoor in L.A. to Anna in Nassau.
I wish to heck they would discuss how Daniel’s plans were made to get to Nassau for this trip, since he and Anna were said to “not be speaking” and it was said that Anna wouldn’t or couldn’t take Daniel’s calls because Howard wouldn’t let her.
How did this all come about? I’ve been so scared that HKS was going to take some kind of “credit” for “surprising” Anna with an unannounced visit from Daniel. That’s why it was so important that Martino give his testimony of Daniel’s last days.
I mean, what if Daniel was bringing methadone in for his mom and maybe swallowed some when he was afraid he’d get caught at the airport? I don’t quite understand about the suitcase, either, as I thought he only had a backpack. OTOH, if he were bringing in more pills, it would be better to have them in checked baggage - except that runs a risk of customs searching it upon arrival.
I’m certain Daniel hadn’t ever done that, *if* this were the case, so he would’ve been really stupid about it.
