Good comparison. Same things have occurred in homicide cases. A friend of Michael Peterson died in German a dozen or more years earlier and it was believed to be an accident. Then his wife died in a similar "accident" and it lead to a murder trial. Drew Peterson's wife disappeared and an investigation was launched into the 3rd wife's death. There are other cases with less in common that lead to in depth investigation than ANS and Daniel's cases.
Why not with ANS? Coverup?
"Murder at the Hard Rock" sounds like a good book title but not very good advertisement.

Patient confidentiality goes only so far. When it covers up a crime, the rule falls. Just ask the Catholic Church.
All it takes is one "hidden witness" to come forward to get the ball rolling.
