I ran across the following while composing a different topic and thought you would find it interesting:

Apr 04th, ‘07 - “Lilly Ann Sanchez, an attorney for Stern, said that Eroshevich prescribed the chloral hydrate....(but) was APPARENTLY UNAWARE that the chloral hydrate would prove lethal when combined with the numerous other medications that she had prescribed to Smith.”

http://www.eonline.com/news/article/index.jsp?uuid=f963f83f-cb99-4d3e-a3c7-f904dad35766

also from official reports:

“4. Statements of “wanting to die” after the death of her son Daniel in September 2006, were absent after mid October 2006.

“5. A near drowning episode in a pool following Daniel’s death, appears to be a result of an accidental drug overdose rather than a suicidal act.

from a separate ET article:

“Though the powerful medication is prescribed relatively rarely, Eroshevich gave Smith a prescription upon visiting her in the Bahamas shortly after the death of her 20-year-old son, Daniel, attorney Lilly Ann Sanchez said...”

“Eroshevich was aware that conventional sleep meds such as Ambien were not effective on Smith, so went with “an older tried and true medication,” Sanchez said.”

“The chloral hydrate indeed was effective and as expected it gave Anna the relief that she needed in those agonizing months after Daniel’s death and allowed her to sleep,” she
said.”

“Stern lawyer Sanchez said the chloral hydrate was prescribed for Smith by her friend and psychiatrist, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, who also traveled with her to Florida. Sanchez said the drug was prescribed last year after Smith’s son Daniel, then 20, died in the Bahamas of apparent drug-related causes.”

to be noted: the first rx for CH we know of is Jan 2nd, 07 - well after Daniel’s death - in fact, 4 months after ...this would conflict with Perper’s conclusion #4 above....that Eroshevich was ‘unaware’ of drug interactions would lend suspicion as to who was responsible for the scenario described in Perper’s conclusion #5, above.

The first blaringly obvious snaffu for KE is her statement to Kapoor that she ‘would administer the drugs herself’. Totally blows out of the water, her statement 5 months later, that Anna did what Anna wanted to do, and nobody gave anna any drugs.

Then of course, we need to contrast Sanchez’s comments about Eroshevich being “unaware” of drug interactions, with ‘reality’.

We have at least three phone calls made by KE/HK to try to obtain the drugs:

1. Aug 25th phonecall by Kapoor refusing to fill the order, who claims to have spoken to both.

2. circa Aug 25th phonecall from Key Pharmacy to KE (HKS?)refusing to fill the order

3. circa Aug 25th phonecall from the addiction/pharmacology expert (called in by Key Pharmacy) to apparently unsucessfully convince HKS/KE that the drug combinations and amounts ordered, were, in essence, an order for a ‘fatal’ outcome.

For KE and/or HKS to claim, in Feb, 07, that they were unaware of drug interactions that three separate phone conversations confirmed were deadly in Aug, ‘06, is probably one of the most laughably invalid claims I’ve seen/heard yet.

“When Kapoor refused to fill the prescriptions, sources say, Eroshevich sent the request directly to Key Pharmacy in North Hollywood, Calif. It was also refused there.”

“Eroshevich was put in touch by phone with an addiction and pharmacology expert at a prestigious local university. Smith’s local pharmacist...put them in touch. The expert told Eroshevich that the medicines and doses she was asking for were inappropriate and dangerous....”He told her she was in way over her head and that Anna Nicole should be hospitalized,” a source who knew about the conversation told me last night.”

“Kapoor was reassured when he first heard from Eroshevich, Smith and Howard K. Stern, that she was not breastfeeding her newborn baby girl.

Nevertheless, Kapoor was apparently horrified when Eroshevich told him, “I need something to knock her out.” And the notion that the baby might be a priority didn’t seem to matter.”

“”Stern told [Kapoor ] Eroshevich was a longtime friend,” a source said. “He said that they hadn’t given Anna anything for pain after her C-section. And Eroshevich said she would be with Anna Nicole 24/7 and that she would administer the drugs herself.”

Kapoor responded that he would not send them”

Both Eroshevich and Stern attorneys later protested the ‘laundry list’ as ‘confidential’ (Mar 16, ‘07)

KE said on National TV that she knew the dangers. Her arms were crossed at the time (very defensive posture)and she was arrogant about it. "I could have saved her" is a telling statement.

Her unscheduled flight to Ca was sooooo convenient. Howard's "flight" to the dock was soooo convenient. For 3 days, he was constantly at Anna's side and he leaves for a few minutes...and quess what...she dies. Except, it's pretty certain from her color that she was dead when he left.
