I'm almost certain that both bodies will be returned tro Texas someday under the care of Virgie...the only home they really knew.

After that, Daniel was just Anna's pawn and Anna was Howard's pawn. I know Anna loved Daniel but I don't think she did right by him.

I think we all die with regrets. I'm sure near the end, Anna had hers. She had been duped by her two closest friends...Howard and KE and there was no way to undo it.
