I didn’t see Sac ‘taking issue’ in her question.

It would be quite a stretch to suggest this trip was a normal mom returning to work. I never got that out of Sac’s question at all. This trip was not ‘planned’. Most mom’s I know plan their return to work. There is nothing in this trip (boat and ring) that suggests she was there to ‘work’.

‘Giving your baby away to a last minute daycare taker that is almost a stranger, for a last minute week trip is not normal, motherly, return to work behaviors.

Anna was a couple hours away at the most. She had been with the Bahama folks for 10 months as of January. I simply don't see the problem.

Gosh...I had a babysitter for my kids...age 2,4,6 when hubby and I went to Hawaii and I was no hour away!!!!
