Liquid and pills are different.
If it is metabolized to all those, WHY was it only found in her bile????? Why not the liver? Why not in her brain? Why not her blood? She was not new to methadone. You can’t take info from single NEW dose and apply it to an extended user. NOTE: BLOOD LEVELS EQUILIBRATE WITH TISSUE LEVELS!

After successive daily doses, methadone blood levels equilibrate with the levels in body tissues, and the half-life progressively increases until it reaches a mean average of 25 hours. Once-daily dosing should then be sufficient to maintain a stable patient.
Methadone has a low therapeutic index (overlap of toxic and therapeutic blood levels),so a double dose can be fatal.
