Crimes are solved by "thinking out loud" and "following the footsteps". It's methodical.

I'm watching this Peterson Case unfold. I saw the husband talking. As long as he can maintain his "cop" composure, he's okay....in fact...he's too okay...too non chalant.

I have to believe what sustains him is....prove it.

The laws of evidence are on his side....and some time has passed so retracing his footsteps is VERY difficult. As a cop...his footsteps gave him an "in" to everything that was going on. The "hidden footsteps" might just come from a cop buddy.

Guess who's doing the autopsy on Drew Peterson's wife...the one they just exhumed. Does Wecht ring a bell? But I must say, he is very suspicious...because no one ever explained the bruises and head laceration.

No one has ever explained Daniel's either.

I know none of us is particularly enamored with Greta now, but she was on O'Reilly tonight, and said that you could bet the prosecutor would be taping the interview with Matt Lauer for later use. She said a prosecutor wanted the suspect to talk in hopes they could get information that traps him..or he trips himself. Greta said for example, when she interviewed him 2 days after his wife's disappearance, he was saying she had left and taken her bikini with her. In his interview with Lauer, he didn't mention this - said she had run off with her boy friend. When questioned by Matt, he said she had not told him she had a boy friend, but he suspected she did. He said her requests for a divorce came after her sister's death and around the time of her menstrual cycle. He was not convincing to me that he had nothing to do with her disappearance!

Do you remember a time when we have had so many people missing and being discovered murdered? The 17 year old boy from Ala. was found murdered in Villa, GA., and another one is missing in Duluth, GA. and one in Charlotte, N.C. plus all the others that have happened before these. It's downright scary! I wonder if we saw expedited trials and severe punishment ala the death penalty that people would think before they committed these atrocities. I do believe we are coddling the criminal and punishing the victim a second time with some of our laws that protect the criminal and do nothing for the victim. I read where one prison was asking for a satellite so they could watch football. The warden said it kept down trouble...well, what's wrong with putting them to work and letting them earn their room and board in prison?
