Mornin' Rte:

Glad you got to the doctor. It helps alleviate our personal thoughts,...the old "worst case" scenario. At least you might be able to relax a little more till this stuff clears up.

Wool.....Stop!! Use white cotton only. I cut finger holes into some tube socks for my granddaughter. She thinks it's cool!!...and grandma is "brilliant".

A new pillow?? You're just getting sooooo extravagant!! I limit myself to 3 pairs of socks each year!! :-)

Wishing you well!! /Sac

Oh, the wool gloves never touched my skin. They were purely cosmetic covers for the white cotton gloves covering the soft cotton gauze on the worst parts.

I was so relieved after the clinic visit that I went to Walg’s with “just” the white cotton ones on, lol. *nekkid* (But I did take the Mickey Mouse costume off, tho.)

Can’t believe I dodged another bullet yesterday! I had a Totino’s frozen pizza and had planned to fix it up (doctor it with extra good stuff) for dinner last night. The recall notice came on the news in the morning and when I woke up last night, I found that my numbers matched the “bad” pizzas. Whew! Tossed in the trash!

And guess what - I had eaten one of the bad ones two months ago and gotten very sick (Leon Trotsky’s) - had no idea what caused it! I am very lucky that nothing more happened to me, considering all my apparent immune system deficiencies! Wow, wow, wow.

I had even wondered out loud about kidney failure at the time. My, my. The rash came back shortly after that, come to think of it. But I was thinking “ebola” not “e. coli,” ha!

I guess I should add that the “bad news” yesterday was that, after 30+ years of having consistently low BP, I’m now hypertensive. So, now I’ll never get to eat anything again. Oh, and I’m fatter than I thought I was. Just so no one thought I was hiding something *real* embarrassing, lol.

But hey, my hand rash isn’t MRSA and oil prices are up!

(I know the latter isn’t good news for anyone else, but it *is* for me and just this once, for the record high, I’m going to cheer without guilt. I’ve suffered a heck of a lot getting to this point, for just another few dollars in my pocket.)

Oh, yeah, to answer a long-ago question I think you or Liz asked me - my temp was - and always, always, has been - 98.2°.

It’s funny because I am perennially the “hottest” person in any room or gathering of people. (Not in the Paris Hilton sense of “hot,” tho.) Been that way all my life, not just when “older.” So, how come I’m always “cooler” than average?

As soon as I saw the temp, I felt a huge burden off my shoulders. My home thermometer is, like everything else I own, in the storage unit that I can’t get to, having no car. Guess I should give Walg’s some more money for a new one “for the apt.” That used to mean “temporarily” - now it just means “I need one.”
