Now that I've confirmed that KE was practicing in Ca. when Howard was 12...and both were in La...Will they find that KE treated Howard when he was young? Is this where all the confidentiality REALLY comes into play?

Of course I'm speculating...but suppose, suppose...Howard says he likes to abuse girls to a psychiatrist and becomes descriptive...

Just how far does confidentiality go?? The Catholic Church got in a big mess with their confidentiality agreements.

Aren't physicians obligated to report abuse?

My thoughts are that Howard may be an abusive person along with KE. I have a gut feeling that Howard and KE have known each other for a very long time and that's why the Stern family has been so silent.

I remember reading about Jun 22 move, that a daily 'pill dispenser' was tossed into the trash. wonder if anyone retrieved it? or other similar items likely to have prints/dna. - heck, the coffee cups on LKL would do! my intuition sadly says his not wanting to give up dna goes back to Daniel's missing jeans. I can't yet come up with a single rational reason for their removal from the hospital room.

The reason for the delay in the DNA was because he could have better legal standing. That’s all Stern cares about legal standing. While he had custody and legal guardianship he could control everything that went on around him. After he was compelled to submit DNA and it came out that LB was dad he had to change his game plan. Sorry I don’t buy the theory that he and LB had planned this all along. No what happened (IMO) is that Howie knew the Dannielynn card was up and he used some videos that he had on Birkhead (gay sex). If Rita’s account is correct when LB tell Virgie “They’re gonna say I’m queer” then the deal was struck soon after that.

KE moved to California after graduating from OSU. She and HKS's mom might have met through common professional interest in children. In Marquis Who's Who all the organizations listed under "membership" for Broncha Machla Stern involve young children's education. For Ohio License Center, KE listed one of her specialties as "child & adolescent psychiatry."

Maybe HKS was one of KE's patients or they somehow met socially. Maybe he received a head injury while playing football, though no photo of him in a football uniform has surfaced yet. If he played, somebody should have a photo since usually athletes have their picture taken in uniform and exchange them at the end of the school year with other students. Also, high school yearbooks have them.
