We have speculated on the name of the boat that Anna and Howard were buying when Anna died and it occurs to me that there is another meaning for "cracker."

A hacker is a white hat, a good person who hacks to find vulnerablities for companies and then reports what he finds to the companies.

A cracker is a black hat, a person who hacks into people's and companies' computers to cause harm, defraud, etc.

Hacker carried a negative connotation. Hackers within their own small groups (IT depts mostly) used to consider themselves crackers. The ones at my work in those days were offended by hacker titles and the destructive goals of delinquents to hack. Cracker, to them was truer to what they considered a fun challenge. Cracking the code or access but nothing hacked in harmful ways like today’s virus creators.

Cracker (without the ‘s’) used by blacks is not a compliment. It is a very derogatory word used for whites by blacks. None of the my black friends think it would be acceptable for a boat in the Bahamas. They said it would be considered offensive, not humorous. A slap in the face to homeland blacks. “The Cracker” is the exact term used by slaves. The white boss that would crack the whip, meaning whip blacks.

A Cracker:

A cracker is someone who breaks into someone else's computer system, often on a network; bypasses passwords or licenses in computer programs; or in other ways intentionally breaches computer security. A cracker can be doing this for profit, maliciously, for some altruistic purpose or cause, or because the challenge is there. Some breaking-and-entering has been done ostensibly to point out weaknesses in a site's security system.

A Hacker:

Hacker is a term used by some to mean "a clever programmer" and by others, especially those in popular media, to mean "someone who tries to break into computer systems."

1) Eric Raymond, compiler of The New Hacker's Dictionary, defines a hacker as a clever programmer. A "good hack" is a clever solution to a programming problem and "hacking" is the act of doing it. Now, if I were a cracker and I thought myself a very good cracker, I might want to egotistically call myself "The Cracker." And we have heard that someone was on the computer all the time.

Note to Nancy Grace: You are supposed to be for victims. Have you looked into what a farce Dr. Perper made of the Anna Nicole autopsy? Even a 5th grader could see the errors. Yet you have him on your show and introduce him as a renowned pathologist. How much is he paying you? Or do you feel Anna Nicole was too bad a person to deserve justice? At least stand up for Virgie Arthur.

Last week I saw Lin Wood on Greta's show. They seemed rather cozy. He talked about the JonBent case and not a word about Howie. This metrosexual is not somebody I would hire if I needed a lawery. His record is not impressive, and he has the charisma of a gold fish.

TMZ reported that Larry Birkhead was deposed for 10 hours a week ago in Howie’s case against Rita Cosby. I don’t have more details since my computer acts up when I try to go on TMZ.

Howie wants $60 million from Rita Cosby and her publisher. Rita’s lawyer Elizabeth McNamara reportedly told the court that Howie’s reputation is so bad, he is beyond slander. I don’t see how Howie can win since he is a public figure and Rita reported what others said.

I heard the Travolta family and Bahamian authorities are in disagreement over the timeline. I have no confidence in the Bahamian officials after they removed a competent ME in the death of Anna Nicole Smith's son and then proceeded to coverup his death.

I wonder what happened to the rape charges against David Copperfield that allegedly took place in the Bahamas but the FBI was investigating.
