Greta is stupid. That’s all I can say about her. She may be worried that she’ll be next in a lawsuit. HKS sure laid into her at first about her having all these people on to say bad things about him.

Could Greta be likewise a coward in addition to stupid? Joran fooled her big time. If she keep this up with Howie, her credibility will slide until she becomes a laughing stock. Already people are snickering re her unobjective treatment of Howie. She should have learned from Joran. I give her credit for admitting she was wrong about Joran.

I am still shocked at her death, too. I'd just been to Houston March 17-19 on a trip to NASA's Johnson Space Center, Moody Gardens, Galveston and other places around there and it never occured to me to even try to contact her to say "hello".

I was with a university group so it's doubtful I would have been able to go visit her due to time and lack of personal transportation.

As far as the inquest, Howard K Stern, and Larry Birkhead, I'm totally disgusted. I'm tired of evil winning.

Me too. I will miss Rte. I knew she had health problems but did not realize it was this serious. A huge loss.

Hope somebody plans to write an expose of the coverup of Daniel and ANS's deaths and the intimidation of the media to keep silent.

I mistakenly posted the following on Rte’s tribute page:

Rte 66 will not be forgotten, though she will be missed. She held out til the end of the Inquest, it seems. That was just like her. Determined, independent, single-minded. I always hoped we would hear of a happy ending to her struggles, along with a just verdict in the ANS case.

From what I’ve been reading, Howard K. Stern is viewed unfavorably by the majority. His guilt will shadow him his whole life, hopefully.

I guess we’ve reached the end of this phase of the ANS saga. I wonder what will happen with the Calif. case agt Dr. K? And Virgie’s case? My expectations are quite low. The only outcome I hope for is that DL be raised by her Texas kin out of the Hollywood limelight. She’ll never see a penny of the Marshall money, IMO, and good riddance to it, as Virgie has said.

I feel a profound sadness about Daniel’s passing. Rte made an interesting comment about it to me back in Dec. Now that we know the result of the Inquest, I want to tell everyone something from my own life, that always made me wonder about Danny...I had a sibling who took her own life at a young age. She was depressed and unhappy with being separated from the family (not her own choice). A few days before she took her life, she wrote a happy letter to our father. Her mood had lifted. Later, I learned that many people who are depressed appear quite happy just before the end...because they know their suffering will be over soon.

I often wondered if that explains Daniel’s happiness just before he died. And that he felt excluded from his family after the baby was born. Rte made the comment that he couldn’t live without his mother, but she could live without him. Just a final thought on his sad fate.

What really frosts me is that a week or two ago, I got a letter of solicitation from his son - who is running for Duncan's office.

Devious thoughts ran through my head. He's thinking, "Here's a sucker!"

I know I am rather new here & only “knew” Rte66 for a short time but I lurked & read her post since the beginning of this thread (all three of them :o)
She had a wealth of information regarding the ANS case. I would love to read the files on her PC to figure out all she never was able to sort out because of PC problems. She always had such wonderful information.
Hopefully this thread will stay alive even though info is getting scarce on the case until the DOJ in CA get all of their ducks in a row. Rte66 would post when she could just to keep the post rolling. Maybe we need to do the same in her honor? :o)
I am sure she already has the scoop on all things Anna by now & wish she could somehow post one last time to fill us all in.
RTE66 will be forever missed & was a pleasure to have “met” & have as a FRiend.
I was shocked to read her obit & see she was only 58 years old. She was a wise, old soul. The first thought that came to my mind when I heard of her death was that now her bothersome hands are healed. :o)

I also hope for justice for Virgie Arthur. A couple of days ago Greta had something on this on her show. I could not make myself watch it, fearing she would fawn over Howie and his mouthpiece again. Art Harris is weird one also, creepy like McCain, Howie, and that guy in the film "Psycho."

Still stunned from Rte66's death. I do not want her forgotten.

I agree we should do something in Rte66’s honor. Keeping track of the villains in the Daniel Smith and his mother’s murder would be one way. I never met Rte66 and yet I miss her.

well, now that the maddogs and englishmen have danced their turn in the midday sun, there is no legitimate legal reason to retain Daniel’s body in the bahamas.

It’s time to bring Daniel home -

if Anna is ‘allowed’ to come along, fine. if not, that’s fine too

Daniel’s body is no longer governed by the Bahamas authorities, HKS, LB, or ANYONE else but his father and his grandmothers. He is free.

and Daniel needs to be home, in the USA, resting in peace in American soil (after a real autopsy by unpaid unbiased american doctors).

i don’t get it -

let’s paint a picture of Anna the out-of-control drug addict who needed to be micro-managed and micro-dosed for her own good, with a drug addict son to boot, who couldn’t be micro-managed, to suit needs when needed to disguise a crime, then to plead insult and affront to Anna’s character/plans/ambitions/image when money may be made by so claiming?

Either she was an insignificant druggie floozy drunk pole-dancer incapable of rational behavior or actions with no coherent plans for any conceivable future, a loser, of which one bears not one second thought in life about, or she wasn’t - can’t have it both ways. Anna lay in an unmarked, unvisited, unattended grave while her ‘executor’ remained conspicuiously silent during LB’s blasphemy of her own son in an open court of maddogs and englishmen.
