in the past 5 years, he’s sued his agent/attorney, his employer/girlfriend, a well-noted actress from a highly-respected Nashville family, and a major network. Not to mention the many bridges he’s burned. does anyone even take him seriously anymore? who’s gonna hire him for anything?? who’d take the (obvious) risk? I’d bet howie thought it all out in advance, too, and now all larry has is little miss howie. Too bad it’s the losing horse he bet the farm on.

imo The longer larry keeps baby Dannielynn from her grandmamma, the more his bad karma is gonna build, and build, and build, like a dark cloud over his head...until you can’t even see him at all jmo

If Daniel had injested methadone prior to leaving Los Angeles, and given a 4-6 hr window, he would probably have been dead prior to arriving at his first stop. imo Monroe is no more convincing in his antics than Artie

If he was awake and moving at 6:30AM, he *shouldn’t* have died until 10:30AM at the earliest, if he took them right that moment. He was found dead or near-death at 9:30AM.

Call for assistance came at 9:38iirc (where have I seen 38minutes after the hour before?) If he injested the meds at 2-2:30am food run, then by 6:30 he would have been saying, 'howie baby, why am i so tired?' and by 8:30ish he would have been deceased. imo

If there was 'bloody froth' in his lungs, chances are, there were physical symptoms (coughing, choking, etc) of his overdose?. maybe that's where the 'abrasions' or 'bruises' came from - getting to (or being kept from) the nurse call button maybe?

was there any blood on anna's sheets i wonder?

I'm saying that PERHAPS there was initial dosing that started in Ca....but that the main ingestion occurred in the Bahamas.

Or PERHAPS, KE inquired as to what he was taking at the time. I'd like to know if there was a call between Howard and KE BEFORE Danny arrived....or in the middle of the night.

Maybe Howard left the hospital for the second time to make a phone call.

PERHAPS KE gave Danny some meds before he left. It's not unusual for Doctors to have cupboard fulls of samples. I found it queer that Danny told her that he had an upset stomach. I doubt whether either of my sons would say that "in a phone call" so I think they met at some point in time.

KE has never said whether she "talked to him" on the phone or in person.

My working theory had been that Howard had given Daniel the meds in the food and drink and then left, expecting Daniel to die while he was gone from about 2 am to 4 am. IMO, of course

sounds perfectly plausible to me - in light of the happenings/timing at the hard rock 5 months later

Who requested the baby to be removed at 5:30? Who stopped the usual "Breakfast routine" for Anna?...Which was likely between 8:00 to 9:00.

Anna was drugged before leaving the hospital. Howard dislikes kids from everything I've seen and is certainly lousy at physically handling a newborn from everything I've seen.

Did he call Shane Gibson because he needed Mrs. Gibson to watch the baby.

WHO WAS TAKING CARE OF THAT BABY?

Is there a picture of Howard, Anna and the baby at the hospital? Is there a picture of Anna, the baby, Danny and Howard at the hospital?

IIRC, he said he told Danny that he was the father.

we know from July 18th hospitalization, Daniel had a clean drug test for known illegals. (the doctors found ‘nothing remarkable’)

When I read, ‘why am i so sleepy’, I don’t hear a pleading, dying voice - i hear a very angry, confrontational voice. A voice so strong and compelling that howie couldn’t help but try to exorcise it from his thoughts on LKL. I’ve felt this way from the start. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gives him cold-sweat nightmares.

Welcht has already said, Daniel was only on antidepressants for 6-8 weeks and had already started being weaned off them (3-4wks usually). i don’t think both of those antidepressants would have been prescribed for taking at the same time - just from what i’ve read on boards about them. Maybe one was rx’d, didn’t work, second one rx’d, didn’t work, and Daniel was stepping down the dose for some weeks to wean off totally. It would be nice to know the dates on the rx’s.

Martino packed Daniel’s bag - there were no medications packed. Howie would have known, what and when Daniel was prescribed anything - just from the medical bills. imo

iirc, howie stopped taking pictures long enough to call both gben and gibson, telling gben ‘it doesn’t look good’ and to hurry to he hospital; one can assume he did the same with gibson?

NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) - The dangerous amount of methadone taken by Anna Nicole Smith’s 20-year-old son was the main factor behind his death last year, the Bahamian police’s forensics chief testified Tuesday at an inquest into the death.

Superintendent Quinn McCartney’s conclusion differs slightly from the findings of two pathologists who said Daniel Smith was killed by an interaction of methadone and two antidepressants.

“Even if there were no other drugs present in (Smith’s) bloodstream, the methadone level would be enough to set off alarms,” said McCartney...”

i’m holding my horse steady - until i see some rx’s filled for methadone beyond aug 25th, ‘06, i’m still stuck about the methadone in anna’s system - i think she was given it to deliberately tie her in - same as howie told ford right off the bat, that there was methadone in the fridge at the horizons the day daniel died.
Feb 5th off to hard rock - prior to feb 5th, interview to air feb 6th/7th, “...there’s no way anyone is going to implicate me in Daniel’s death...”

When I went to their website, all ET had was just the one-liner that Larry’s father had died.

But Access Hollywood, originally Larry’s “preferred” coverage provider, had a fuller story with details and quotes directly from Larry.

So, this time, the “exclusive” was Larry’s. And I doubt it was paid for.

I’m sure that Larry got a free plane ride to Kentucky and back with all his luggage, lots of hair products, the nanny and Dannielynn. The funeral is Friday which should not interfere with Larry’s ability to testify at the inquest. But I fear that he has no plans to attend, how sad that you would not even attend and inquest to find out how your daughters brother died....says a lot about Larry.I hope while in Kentucky that his family will be able to reach him.Maybe they can wrench him out of the grips of Howard. You can bet that Howard will be as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof and afraid that Larry will succumb to the emotion. His family has tried to do an intervention before but he refused. Hopefully they will succeed this time.

That story states that Munroe said Daniel had a prescription for methadone and “had been taking it for pain.”

I just flat don’t believe that.

I’d be much more inclined to believe it if it were oxycodone or something like that. Our TV news has been running a series on “pain management clinics” that have popped up in strip centers and so forth.

They claim that “patients” don’t even have to see a doc, that ‘scrips are just written freely, by the 1000s, and that the main “cocktail” prescribed to nearly all is a combo of oxycodone (I assume that’s OxyContin, right?), Soma and Xanax.

Methadone just seems like an “out in left field” treatment option for Daniel. It seems more like something KE could’ve fabricated back in CA on her little ‘scrip pad, if needed.

I just wonder if the inquest is going to hear from Adenike - it seems like her turn as witness was just glossed over or not reported at all. And her testimony is crucial.

I disagree explicitly that Anna was given the methadone to tie her in to Danny's death. IIRC, it had been prescribed by the prior doctor...the one whose practice Kapoor took over.

I'm not sure methadone was mentioned in Seidlin's court by Larry but Howard said explicitly that she hadn't used it for 5 months.

The methadone pictured in the fridge was after ANNA's death.

Once someone associated with Danny's autopsy said methadone was the culprit (and it had to be insider's information) because the coroner's report alluded to "a combination" not Methadone as being capable on it's own as an OD, Anna's system had to be flushed of it before she died. Howard was certain none would be found....so certain that he made the "5 months" statement in Seidlin's court.

I think Munroe has been very careful not to use the word "prescription" or "prescribed".

So the question should be: Did Daniel have a prescription for methadone and who wrote it?

iirc, perper, imo, wasn’t aware Ch was being taken by Anna (since it was in howie baby’s name). then, the CH in Anna came back with the ‘extended’ tox results - after which, iirc, he called in KE for a ‘chat’ and came up with the ‘was given’ versus ‘took’ descriptions. i’ve looked and looked but haven’t found anything that Anna took ch being volunteered by anyone until Perper’s release of autopsy results/press conference, well after the funeral iirc.

I doubt if Wecht or the bahamian coroners looked for ch in Daniel’s system for exactly the reasons you state. If they retained blood or spinal tissue or liver tissue, maybe they would be able to find the metabolites without exhuming him? One would imagine that if a lab were notified there was to be an inquest, they would hold specimens?
