I foudn a cheaper black salve but now that I read this site, it may not be for you. Caustic.

http://www.nutritionsurplus.com/index.cfm/FuseAction/Shopping.ProductDetails/productid/41909.html

I think coconut oil both internally and externally is the way to go for you. Not sure if I told you but I believe I found coconut oil in capsule form. Who knows LOLL It’s not bad and makes a great spread on toast instead of butter. Hubby just melts it in his coffee. I can do that. I do fry/saute with it though.

Ack! Nopey nope, not for BadHands, I don’t think! Coconut oil sounds *nice* but I don’t have any way to get any. I looked for it at Walg’s, in two places - medical (plus vitamins, supplements), and back in cosmetics and lotions. No dice.

I made curry with coconut milk and with coconut shreds in it this week, as always. Then I worried about the mashed banana I always have as a condiment with it, because the BP med says not to take any potassium when on this med.

(It also says not to drive or go out in the sun or about a gazillion other things that I know *for sure* people do who have high BP and take meds for it.

Since the doc snuck this scrip’ in with the ointment and didn’t tell me one single thing to do or not do, I’m flying blind and not happy about it at all. It’s going to be a “forever” thing and it takes every bit of “discretionary” (laugh) income I have, so I’m just going to take it at face value for now, on the label precautions, then do my research before ever refilling it.)

Another question, cosmo ‘fillers’ (lips?) were in June according to Levy. He had to see she was prego’s. Two months later, 8 months prego’s, he sends Demerol, Dalmane, injectable vials of vitamin B12, and sleeping pills!?

FIFTY! 50 friggin Demerol! A Narcotic!
There is no way she needed all months after a ‘minor’ cosmetic thing and 8 months pregnant.. I don’t care if he put a bone in her lips. August.. 8 months preg.. Clown video!

‘not for Anna’ code for another HKS script? He shipped it to Vickie Marshall. Is that he play on words. He said Anna requested a refill! Why would he ship it NOT to the requester. Go get him DOJ! DEA!

Well, see it won’t work on me, then. LOL, I’m only a small percent Chickasaw. But card-carrying and on the tribal rolls!

(Just saw the other day that my cuz is not really running for Prez, lol. I’ve never laid eyes on Steve Colbert because I don’t have cable, but I know he and I have the same ggggrandparents. He says “Cole-bear”; we say “Cole-burt.”)

Cheros are my civilized sistahs, but I just don’t think this stuff is a good idea for my hands, with all the allergies I have. Thanks again!

Here is exactly what the report states and the section you keep referring to.. There is NO, nicotine, neosporin or ‘anna was told to call’.

2. Monday, February 5, 2007 Anna Nicole Smith, Howard K. Stern, and Khristine Eroshevich left for the U.S. from the Bahamas in the evening arriving at Miami International Airport around 7:30 pm. Anna was upbeat, feeling well, but complained, however, of buttock pain during the flight. During the limousine ride to the Hard
Rock Hotel and Casino, she complained of feeling cold and shivering, and she was slumped over, complaining of more buttock pain. At 8:30 pm the party checked in at the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood. Maurice Brighthaupt, a friend and former body guard met them at the hotel. Anna ’ s temperature was taken by Dr. Khristine Eroshevich and was 105 degrees. Anna was told to have 911 call for transport to the hospital, but she categorically refused. She was given an ice bath and her temperature dropped to 97 degrees. She was given Tamiflu as well as 1000 mg of Ciprofloxacin with water. Chloral Hydrate was added for sleep. She fell asleep around 10 pm

all of your links say the same thing - “the boyfriend says” —many articles, citing ‘allegations’ from one source, no cooberating ‘official’ or ‘disinterested party’ source - I want someone other than LB - so we can determine why, methadone was prescribed for her during her visit and what the purpose of the iv’s were.

testimony given in court doesn’t mean it’s the truth - LB testified he didnt’ make any money after Daniel’s death and that any money was from his ‘own’ photographs and interviews - seems to me, he forgot to mention Splash in January or ongoing negotiations with MSNBC for a cool mil or the big bucks for the ‘goodnite anna baby’ bravo thing or the negotiations for OK! photoshoot. did he defer payment or contract signing until after testifying to stretch the truth? stretching the truth is lying. HKS testified he only smoked pot in high school - that was a fat whopper, too if Moe or Jackie or HKS’s red eyes and slurring are to be believed.

Nobody’s arguing that Anna had a history of drug abuse prior to meeting HKS. Of course I realize that. We all realize that. And I’ve never seen anyone “pretend” she didn’t. but focusing on Anna’ past drug use in 93, or 95 or 96 is useless effort - it doesn’t explain her death, her son’s death, or why over 8,000 pills were prescribed by KE in 6 months’ time. To me, it’s irrevelant background noise - an excuse for LB, HK and KE (and anyone else benefiting in any way from said pills) to hide behind.

as far as appearing in ‘undies’ - wasn’t it actually her ‘costume’ from the movie, IA, complete with striped socks? Waist-high grannie drawers of a thick material. Not fruit-of-the-looms. more ‘stage’ than ‘under pants’ imo. Wasn’t it HKS’s job to make sure Anna was portrayed in the best light? So why didn’t he? I know there were a lot of hairdressers, but I don’t recall anyone being called her ‘stylist’. and Apparently nobody around Anna was much into age-appropriate wardrobe - most of her dresses looked like tacky Mustang Ranch negligee theme hand-me-downs - I can just imagine Tim Gunn going thru her closet! ;)

I had a "brilliant" thought about the babybook. IIRC, the first anyone heard about the babybook was in Seidlin's court AND LARRY brought it up. Remember also, that Seidlin never asked Howard to confirm it nor did Howard's attorneys stand up and say...Hey Larry...Show us the book!!!!!!!!!

Remember, that Howard and Larry were "dueling enemies" seeking the crown jewels and not best buds at this time. They couldn't contact each other. Too many people were watching. (I wish I could see Howard's face when Larry mentioned the book) because

Larry might have been telling Howard via his courtroom chatter to "Get Rid of the Book".

Wonder if Larry ever told Opri about the book or if Larry's testimony was a surprise to her, too leaving her chomping at the bit for it as evidence in the custody case.

Yes, it absolutely makes a difference because if he told Opri, it would have been confidential information and part of the custody case...nothing to do with who the heck has rights and makes the bucks off the dead body if it isn't produced on the spot.

P.S. I believe Larry's story about the 10 carat diamond was chatter, too. In fact, I'd say Anna never loved "our little cutie" at all and I think we all know that she never wanted to get married.

Larry aka Chatty Cathy: Pull the string...and out comes Howard's dialogue!!

And then again...maybe the book was just another big flat lie like Larry's 10 carat diamond story.

You make a common error. Medicine has advanced greatly. Old old fashioned assumptions of the housewife pill are uninformed. It is not from the 50’s. It wasn’t approved in U.S. until the 60’s. For the most part, the 50’s only offered barbituates (even more dangerous). Diazepam continues to experience WORLD sales and is far more than a housewife pill!

Diazepam was a ground breaker in benzo’s. It has spanned to many indications. Neuro and even vets use this one.
Any surgery? Outpatient procedures? Convulsions? Skeletal muscle spasms? Nothing funny about the needs for diazepam from my personal experience and thank goodness it is not an ‘old fashioned’ drug!

It remains on the World Health Org “essential” list. Neuro fields have adopted this drug. ;)
Then there is the immediate short term use for our little ones. :(

Valium Description:
Valium is a derivative of benzodiazepine. Manufactured by Roche and marketed under the brand names Valium, Seduxen and Apozepam, diazepam possesses anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, skeletal muscle relaxant, amnestic and sedative properties. This makes it useful for treating insomnia, anxiety, muscle spasms and some types of epilepsy. It is also used before certain medical procedures (such as endoscopies) to reduce tension and anxiety, and in some procedures to induce amnesia.

Diazepam is listed as a core medicine in the World Health Organization’s (WHO) “Essential Drugs List.” The drug is used to treat a wide range of conditions and is one of the most frequently administered and prescribed benzodiazepines.

Diazepam was the second benzodiazepine developed by Leo Sterbach, and was approved for use in 1963. It is five times more potent than its predecessor, chlordiazepoxide, and quickly surpassed it in terms of sales.

Indications and Dosage:
Diazepam is indicated for the treatment of insomnia, anxiety, and symptoms of acute alcohol or opiate withdrawal. Anxiety or tension associated with the stress of day to day life normally would not require treatment with an anxiolytic. In acute alcohol withdrawal, Valium may prove useful in the symptomatic relief of acute agitation, impending or acute delirium, hallucinations and tremors.

Diazepam has some off-label indications as well, including treatment of insomnia (short-term), treatment of tetanus – in conjunction with other measures of intensive-treatment, initial management of mania – along with first-line drugs such as lithium, treatment of stiff-person syndrome, treatment of painful muscle conditions, treatment of spastic muscular paresis, treatment of overdosage by hallucinogens or CNS stimulants and treatment of drug-induced seizures, among other uses.

And babies :(
Oral diazepam (Valium), given at times of fever, safely reduces the risk of febrile seizure recurrence in infants and children, according to a study published in the July 8 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine * and funded by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). Febrile seizures are fever-triggered convulsions that occur in approximately 3-4 percent of all children in the United States. Although they are generally harmless, their occurrence can cause alarm in the family.

Other medications can be given at the time of a febrile seizure. Diastat (diazepam) gel or liquid diazepam can be given by rectum. Klonopin (clonazepam) wafers can be placed on the tongue or a tablet form of diazepam or lorazepam can be crushed and put between the cheek and the gum.

“Here is exactly what the report states and the section you keep referring to.. There is NO, nicotine, neosporin or ‘anna was told to call’.

well, you just posted it yourself: “Anna ***was told**** to have 911 call”, so how can you possibly say, it’s “not” there??? The real curiosity should be, WHO “told” anna to call and WHY was she ‘told’ anything? this is all remedial stuff, nature - straight black and white - nothing new by any means and nothing I and others haven’t posted many times before.

re: neosporin - HA! I’ve provided that link too, and posted the passage, multiple times - even gave you a bad link to force you to look it up on google yourself - about 30 posts ago I posted the link again and you even acknowledged it! So what gives?

re: nicotine - again, something I’ve posted about multiple times. I’m only posting this once, for at least the next month, so put it in your ‘database’ quick so you don’t lose it again! I don’t mind teaching, but it seems we’re going in circles for no reason and my time is simply too valuable to be so repetative on 6-month old material that everyone should know by now, and is much better spent researching deeper topics for the benefit of the thread in general, which I THINK is what we are all here for - nothing personal....but google is your friend - use it (while it’s still free - HA!)! I dunno about you, but I’m moving on to more current stuff before we bore the rest of the room to death..you coming along?

I wonder if the phone in Anna's room was turned off during the fateful stay with the excuse that Anna wouldn't be disturbed and/or to keep the press at bay or....if Howard pulled the plug.

Why am I thinking about it? Because I believe that calling 9-11 (or in this case, the desk)is instinctive...especially with two people in the room.

Brigitte instictively called Taz over. Why not the next logical step?

Yeah me either (for your hands) I remember my nanny putting that stuff out of a white jar with a black lid on every little cut we got. I really don’t think it is the bloodroot stuff the more I think about it or what they call black salve today. I did go to the local Wally world yesterday and get what Sac recommended - that ichthymol stuff. The pharmacist said they had it and it was a drawing salve called Prid. It was only $3.68 so I got it to try on moles, skin tags etc. It isn’t black though. It’s a dark tan.

Well, I'm a smart shopper at least. I believe the chief ingredient is coal. We know that "matching skin tone" is more acceptable to the public...Hence..Clearasil etc.. It's called marketing.

I don't know where your moles are but I heard an old trick. Personally, I found the same trick works for poison ivy.

Cover the mole with tape...yes..I use regular old masking tape but that silver tape will work, too. The theory is that moles need air to survive. This cuts off the supply. The same thing with poison ivy which goes a step further because it prevents you from scratching and spreading it. It's just a wonderful solution to a terrible annoyance.

They might have newer things for moles. As always...ask your pharmacist. Pharmacists are like doctors. If you don't like yours, find another!!

Thanks, actually it’s not so much moles as skin tags and seborrheic keratosis. When my adrenals started to fail (I now know this) I started getting a poop load of them every where. I am not sure the stuff my Nanny used back in the fifties had coal or charcoal. It didn’t color your skin at all and smelled like a tar (?) (trying to recall smells LOL) I am trying the Prid stuff to see if it works. When I find a darn doctor that will help me with the adrenal insufficiency I won;t get any more from what I can read. Had to much stress in my life the last 10 years or so and they’ve just about stopped. Anyway, thanks for the hint to go to the drugstore. Hope it works.

Started thinking about Red Herrings and this continuing saga:

This could be kinda fun until something breaks on some of these lawsuits and investigations.

Go to wikipedia and read the definition of Red Herring first. Print it out if it will help train your thoughts. The definition is interesting in itself.

Then come back and see if you can add a red herring to the list which I am going to start AND WHY it is red herring.

Red Herring No. 1: Larry's story about Anna wanting to marry Larry and asking for a 10 karat diamond.

THE PROBLEM: The first time a 10 karat diamond comes up is at the phoney Howard/Anna wedding. Yet Larry comes up with a 10 karat marriage story that predates the phoney wedding by about a year.

It is well known that Anna didn't want to get married and wanted a "one night stand" (sperm donor) to have a child. I believe Larry's eyes were cast down at the time of the tale. Seidlin broke his concentration with his little Walmart joke.

Red Herring Number 2: Howard said that Anna wanted to get married and that he didn't.

THE PROBLEM: KE said she convinced Anna to marry Howard.

I think I can come up with a bunch but it's better to share. PLease keep them short! This is a brief not a dissertation.

I'm trying to format a system similar to what they do on the TV show "Numbers". Eliminate the lies and you're closer to the truth because every lie requires a subsequent lie. The next step is: Why was the lie told? The truth carries no purpose in itself. A lie is always for a particular purpose!
