Oh, yeah....Birkhead was stalking her, too. But that was AFTER she was pregnant. Bet he never got paid.
One difficulty has always been to separate diabolical Anna from sweet, funny Anna and when Anna was afraid of, or approving of HOwie’s scams.
Apart from the drugs and his so-called *legal advice*, what was the basis for HOward’s hold over Anna? Did HOward have knowledge of something in her life that he used as blackmail? What the h*ll could it have been? Anna was not afraid for her reputation - she had done everything short of killing someone!

Remember, KE got Anna to marry Howard. KE was Howard's spy and "little helper". We all go to our "best friend" with "what do I do". Except, IT APPEARS, that KE was HOWARD'S best friend.
In todays world, Anna would be considered illiterate at the least. All body...no brains. An easy mark!!

With all the red flags in her and Daniel's deaths, it is incredible that no homicide investigation has followed.

I found this interesting site about Bahamian Law regarding inquests, witnesses, exhumations, etc. Someone said the other night that the Inquest was postponed because of Hurricane Noel and all other government business went ahead on schedule. That is disheartening to me. I think Hurricane Howard was the culprit. Let’s pray that the Bahamians will do the right thing.

” ... remember this is 2001 and she says, ... all of this jewelry has been stolen from me >>over the past 18 months,<< I suspect by relatives, former bodyguards, former friends, and my son’s former nanny...” ...”
That was written in a 1995 affidavit that was presented in court in 2001. There is a police report from June 1994 where ANS reported the $4 million in jewelry “missing” and then came up with several different stories about how that happened.
Some of them centered around her bodyguard Pierre deJean, who had a criminal record and was also having an affair with her. Once she claimed she “gave” the jewels to him. The police concluded the jewelry wasn’t missing and closed the case.
I always felt from reading all the info about it that she probably did “give” them to deJean temporarily and that together they were going to use that as a way to file on her insurance and get some cash for it all - then she would still have the jewelry later on and could sell it again for even more cash.
Her own *401K* ($4.01 million in carats)retirement account, so to speak, lol.
I’d say “this big lie” was so that she didn’t have to claim it as income since they were “gifts”. It’s called “income tax evasion”. She’s just such a confirmed liar and Howard and Larry are, too.

Bald Truth Exclusive: Stern Libel Suit Win! Federal Judge Grants Expedited Discovery; Says He’s Troubled By Rita Cosby Actions

In a world wide web exclusive, The Bald Truth has learned a New York federal judge Tuesday granted Howard K. Stern’s request for expedited discovery in his $60 million libel suit against author Rita Cosby, who wrote he engaged in a gay tryst on tape with Larry Birklhead.
In his motion, obtained first by artharris.com and reported exclusively by ETonline, U.S. District Judge D. J. Chin says he ruled for Anna Nicole Smith’s executor after reviewing “substantial” and “troubling” evidence Cosby tried to “improperly influence witnesses,” when she flew to the Bahamas and offered to pay two nannies for an affidavit to support charges in her bestseller, Blonde Ambition, that Stern and Larry Birkhead had engaged in gay sex on a tape watched by the late Playboy centerfold. Both have denied they are gay and ever had sex.
“Because Stern has presented substantial—indeed , troubling—evidence that Cosby has sought to improperly influence witnesses, the application is granted,” writes Judge Chin.
In the dramatic 20-page motion, the judge says he’s reviewed transcripts of audiotapes secretly made of Cosby offering the nannies’ lawyer money for an affidavit, and interviews with representatives for the nannies who appeared on Larry King Live, Greta Van Sustern’s Fox talk show and other information.
Ex-MSNBCer Rita Cosby has denied any wrongdoing, and stands by her book. In motions to the court, her attorney, Elizabeth McNamara says a different picture will emerge when all the facts are presented.
In effect, Judge Chin’s motion orders that depositions be taken as fast as possible to preserve evidence and prevent any possible witness tampering by either party.
“Stern’s application for expedited discovery is granted to the extent that expedited discovery is hereby allowed on the issue of whether Cosby attempted to interfere withy potential witnesses and the extent and nature of those alleged efforts,” writes Judge Chin.

As you know, Rita Cosby was a colleague of mine here at FNC (she worked in NYC and I worked in DC.) A couple years ago she changed networks becoming an anchor at MS/NBC. Now that I have done the disclosures about Rita and Fox, now the news…and let me add one other thing: if I were Rita Cosby, I would be very, very, very worried. Here is the news:

“…but I am sufficiently concerned about what I have heard on the recordings [note - the reference is to the recordings we played on ON THE RECORD of Rita Cosby and which Stern’s lawyers obviously gave the Federal Judge] – Cosby seemingly attempting to tamper with witnesses…..”
It is the reference to tampering with witnesses which is alarming. Yes, Howard K. Stern’s suit against Rita and her publisher is a civil one (just about money), but the criminal defense attorney in me has my antenna up. While this is not evidence in a criminal court (merely one judge’s statement,) and Rita has not been charged with any crime, I think Rita could be in BIG trouble. Rita’s lawyers say the Judge only has part of the story….and that could make a giant difference….but we await hearing Rita’s side.
I don’t follow Art Harris...is he reliable? I guess we need to do a little research on Judge D. J. Chin, and find out if he has any ties to California! I hope Rita’s lawyer is right and that we’ll find out more as this unfolds. I hope this blows up in HKS’ and Wood’s faces. I get so tired of seeing evil people triumph over good. I know they won’t get by with it forever, but it sure would be nice to see justice served more often! I’d be willing to bet the tapes Lincoln Bain produced were doctored, and he’s on HKS’ payroll! At one time, he bashed HKS, and now he’s bashing someone who is willing to expose the evil HKS. It doesn’t make sense...unless you’re able to follow the money!

But you have to wrap around the idea, maybe the reality, that at the point of the clown videos, HKS was no longer working for ANS - he was working for LB...because imo that, is the only, reality I see in this entire mess. imo imo
they didn’t get married before the birth, because Anna had absolutely no intention of keeping HKS around - imo - what she wanted was HKS the hell out of her life after years of screwing it up. imo, what HKS wanted in revenge, was to tear that child out of her womb - and, in fact, watched as it was! This was not a man wanting to marry a pregnant woman! This was not a man ‘in love’ with a pregnant woman. This was not a man who ever showed any concern at all in the delivery room over the degree of consciousness or pain his supposed ‘love’ was experiencing! this was a man focused on ‘money’ and ONLY money. This was a man with someone else as his (silent) client.
that Anna was blackmailed is obvious to me. the ‘ceremony’ wasn’t to create bad press for HKS you see - it was deliberate to create bad press for Anna - what an aweful mother out partying and jumping in the ocean while her son is rotting in a morgue. I’d guess the timing was exactly one month after the clown video, to the day. I’d guess there was a specific pattern of Anna ‘exposure’ from that point on. (but that’s a different rant! LOL) Howie the victim was ‘talked into it’ at the time - he’d kept it all ‘secret’ and only because ANNA wanted it public, did he say anything - bosh!!! Between the lines, HKS freely admits to anyone who was listening, that he was willing, and able, to ‘keep secrets’ for extended (multi-year) periods of time. It’s obvious that Anna was determined to maintain her friendship with the Shelleys/GBen, in spite of the on-the-way-out-the-door-hanger-on HKS wanting differently.
Anna was finally going in a different direction, on-her-own-for-once, grown-up Anna who had finally met, not druggie hangers-ons, but legitimate, real, people who could give her a healthier view of the world. All those Anna-fed-drugs tapes/events, were used as weapon against Anna imo - do this, say this, act like this, or I will whip such and such out to E! PrimeTime, and you’ll lose your baby and most likely your freedom....Say this on tv or I will turn over the tape(s) before we leave the studio. Act this way or I’ll tell the Gibsons’ you’re a drug addict and to keep the baby. Unfortunately for Anna, her new network wasn’t strong enough to overcome the hangers-ons from feeling they were ‘entitled’ to continue the control, from Studio City partyhouse to Bahamas partyhouse.
by HKS’s own admission, it was his second time to the Bahamas when he came to live there ‘permanently’ that we can reasonably calculate the date the clown video was made - this video was made imo as a punishment to both the shelleys/GBen and Anna - after being shunned for over 3 months, looked down upon by the Shelleys/GBen and others, and quickly run off after the first ‘sign the documents’ visit where no documents were apparently signed (Anna didn’t have the house yet - it ws still being ‘refurbished’) the clown video was the return volley. If ANS had then delivered prematurely, I doubt HKS would have batted an eyelash in concern.
I don’t give one hoot in Alabama if Anna was a crack-head, two-dollar hooker on the south side of Guadalahara - the woman was exploited, systematically robbed, and systematically fed drugs in order to exploit and rob her. HKS had a private agenda. And so did LB imo. I can’t count Anna’s public or a lot of private behavior against her, knowing it was ‘controlled’ for almost a decade. “She’s so outrageous” had to be maintained, after all. It was everyone’s meal ticket. But I have to give a lot of weight to some of the things she’s said in more lucid moments, before a son, and then a baby, was being held hostage behind the stage curtains. My gut says, for money, she was most likely murdered in cold blood right along with her son and in light of that, her past matters not one iota. jmo
