You make a very good point. Seriously if HKS turns up dead I’d want to know where LB is. LB is an idiot if he thinks he can outfox Stern. Even though Stern is screwing up of late he still has the upper hand because LB gave it to him when he made that deal with him. If LB had teamed up with Virgie after DNA was announced and taken the gay hit then HKS would be in jail by now. So if there is a gay tape that was used to blackmail LB where did it come from? I say that HKS and Anna set it up as extra insurance that would keep LB under control. I think Anna knew about LBs bisexuality and accepted it. If Jackie’s comment is true in the book the person that Anna belittled was Howie not LB. And if the nannies initial story is correct I can imagine watching that video and laughing because she knew that she had LB right where she wanted him. When they leaked the video they could have just blurred out Howie’s face...as long as he didn’t say anything no one would know it was him.....ohhhhhhhhhhh yuck..the thought of HKS whispering sweet nothings in that monotonous creepy voice...shiver!!

Liz...I really believe there is a tape out there. Mr. C started dropping hints about Howie being gay after he talked to those nannies. I’m not sure if the Shelley’s have it. I think they would have come forward by now and
Stern wouldn’t be pushing it so hard if he knew it could come back to bite him. The person who has seen it must be someone that Stern believes is still in his fold. It could be Moe. I still want to know who is the woman he was shacking up with and WHY did Rita add that little tidbit. She mentions it and it seems significant but she doesn’t go back to it. Unless she did it to show that HKS had something on Moe and was blackmailing him.

Was this recent or soon after Anna died? There’s something about the Shelley/Thompson clan I can’t put my finger on. That comment makes no sense unless it was for Howie’s benefit. He probably has something on them too. Heck he’s the one of cast doubts on Howie regarding Daniel. This whole thing is confusing. If this was a novel we’d at least have some type of denouement. This just seems to go on and on.

I agree with you that Larry would like it all for himself..but he apparently signed confidentiality agreements with Howard.

If that's the case, when do confidentiality agreements become void. I learned that a contract is void if something criminal is part of it.

Then again...IMHO, Howard has something on Larry...bigtime. We just don't know what it is. I'd bet it's in video form.

When did Larry have his done of Anna? When did Howard have his done? I somehow believe Howard's is a temporary...he seems to be a baby about everything.

KE moved to California after graduating from OSU. She and HKS's mom might have met through common professional interest in children. In Marquis Who's Who all the organizations listed under "membership" for Broncha Machla Stern involve young children's education. For Ohio License Center, KE listed one of her specialties as "child & adolescent psychiatry."

Maybe HKS was one of KE's patients or they somehow met socially. Maybe he received a head injury while playing football, though no photo of him in a football uniform has surfaced yet. If he played, somebody should have a photo since usually athletes have their picture taken in uniform and exchange them at the end of the school year with other students. Also, high school yearbooks have them.

I do think that the "childhood" of Howard comes into play somehow. WE know ABSOLUTELY that Howard and Rale lived on the same street when they were kids and it was Rale who said that Howard had played football and "was pretty good". Rale said he visited Howard's mother not too long ago.

Pretty good says NOTHING as applies to football. Either you're good...or out.

Are Howard's parents as we know them now his "birth" parents?

I do think you're probably right about KE and Howard's mother "mutual interest". Another connection might be "political" (kind of)...where she had a job similar to the one she just got canned from. YOu "know" someone to get those perks.

I found KE on the Ca license websight. It says Physician and surgeon???

That is extremely odd.

This case is full of missing pieces. How did ANS happen to hire Wecht since he has had his share of scandals and who also happened to be acquainted with Perper? There is the triangle of the Sterns - Rale - KE & hubby that makes one think of a conspiracy. How did ANS first meet KE?

I read the summary of the Anna Show when Anna and KE decorated each other’s houses. Anna and Howard spent a lot of time in KE’s house being drunk and rolling around on the floor simulating sex. I did not get the impression that Howard had any particular respect for or connection with KE. More interest, KE did not like the sex room that Howard and Anna created in her house. But her husband did. The summary said that KE was planning to redecorate that room and her husband was going to recreate it in another part of the house. If anyone can find a link to that episode, I’ll try to watch part of it to see if Howie/KE seem particularly friendly.

After all this time, you’d think we could have found some link to Howard’s high school yearbook. Or a reporter would have investigated his background. We know he attended Berkeley for grad school. I’d like to see a h.s. yearbook photo of him. Even junior high. How can we find information on his past? A lot of guessing isn’t getting us too far.

"KE did not like the room"? Not enough whips? Preferred red sheets? Who knows??? The fact that she let Anna do it in the first place is what boggles me.

Remember...KE is her doctor...her psychiatrist.

Let's assume WE are all physiciatrists and Anna is our patient and friend.

Would you let Anna decorate a "sicko" room in your house?

We may not be getting anywhere...but it raises the question as to why isn't it readily available. It's a piece of a puzzle.
