Same here. I was on the ArtBellFans discussion group just prior to joining FR. I had basically all of them raging at me for my viewpoints. They couldn’t put coherent thoughts together.

One guy in particular took me on in a long-ranging debate, MJ-SETI. Eventually, he read the book that I kept hammering away with — “Intercept UFO” by Renato Vesco — and it opened his eyes and he changed his view. It was a classic debate.

After that, MJ-SETI was kinda mean to all the other folks on the list, so it wasn’t as much fun because, of course, they all thought it was some kind of tag team conspiracy thing.

I used to like Art Bell but before he went back into retirement all he did was whine and complain about Global Warming(TM). Honestly, I think it is greif.

And I like reading Graham Hancock’s and Robert Buvall’s books but last time Graham Hancock was on with Art Bell, it was three hours of whining about Global Warming(TM) and the simplistic and ridiculous assertion that the rain forest is the “lungs of the world.”

That is about the dumbest and most annoying analogy ever conceived.

But still, The Talisman is a very good book. Even if it does contain a line about the rain forest being the lungs of the world. Where do they come up with that stuff?
