wtf is "cbs 2?" is this supposed to be the honest twin? one for losers, liars and thieves and the other for everyday americans? the back-up cbs after the first one self-destructs?

That notwithstanding, McDonalds absolutely rocks. A solid, well run business that works hard to give people a shot at learning to be productive.

And the fact the greenpeace, vegans and peta hate you speaks volumes in your favor, in my book.

Year and a half ago I had a difficult time coming up with stuff I could eat at McDonald’s. They’ve made some real changes in that time and it’s usually no problem to stop by with friends or family, day or night, and find edible low carb, no gluten products.

After they stopped using styrofoam packaging, they sucked. The Big Mac today is half the size it was 30 years ago.

Their food is not bad tasting. There are alot of options...personally I love the Grilled Chicken Salad (or the Quarter Pounder Value Meal). Its fast, cheap, good tasting and filling. And the coffee there rocks...I would take a Bold .99 cup of McD's java over Starbucks anyday.

Anti-Americanism over the Iraq war hasn't hurt global sales

Did anyone really think it would? Every McDonalds I have seen in a foreign country stays far busier than anything else around.

I am not even sure if people really associate it with America. Wasn't there a story from years ago of a young Japanese boy coming to America for the first time and exclaiming "Wow they even have McDonalds here!"?

It took me a l-o-n-g time to get over my addiction to their ‘Filet-of-What-Kind-of-Fish-Is-This?’...but I did it! :) It’s still the MOST calorie-laden thing on their menu, I believe.

That said, I do love their Asian Salad...and I just might give their coffee a try now, too.

Wish I had bought their stock when they were on the downside, though. Crud. :(
