The first "North American Union" driver's license, complete with a hologram of the continent on the reverse, has been created in North Carolina. "The North Carolina driver's license is 'North American Union' ready," charges William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration. Gheen provided WND with a photo of an actual North Carolina license which clearly shows the hologram of the North American continent embedded on the reverse.

A sticker on my computer says that it's "Vista" ready but that doesn't mean I'm going to buy it.
Buying it may not be your choice. It will be forced upon us. That’s what is wrong with this.
I, as a citizen, did NOT vote for this. I do NOT want our states drivers licenses to be “North American Union Ready”.
Our representatives are NOT listening to us.
We have a similiar North American logo on our business letterhead...it has been there for years. BTW....WND isn’t the most reliable source for news.

There is, at least, some truth to this. I have a very good friend who works for NC DOT. He faxed me a “slick” of this logo two months ago. They have to verify it on “International” Comm. Drivers Licenses now.
Of course there’s truth to it. Look at the damn thing. Why would a state license have a picture of the ENTIRE northern hemisphere unless North Carolina plansd on extending its borders !!!
If you want to control immigration there has to be some way to make an ID that can be checked from any location. The irony is that many of the most vigorous opponents of illegal aliens are also rabidly against any national ID.

I note also that this thread is in chat; I’m going to guess it was originally in news.
That’s right - instead of being “North Carolina” we’re gonna be known as the “North Continent”...
