Are you aware that when a Chicago-based pit rescue group examined dog attack stories in the media, they found 60 cases where other breeds (including breeds not remotely similar to pits, such as a couple of Labs) had been identified as pit bulls?

When I was in 3rd grade I was the teacher’s pet.....my father that year, killed my teacher’s dog.....it had been coming in after our chickens.....he said he meant only to scare it, but ended up hitting it......funny thing....my teacher understood COMPLETELY.

I was wondering how the dogs that ran off were positively identified as Pits. At night in the middle of melee there was a dog expert around to determine they were Pits....
Would this be a headline if they were bulldogs or mastifs?

Buy twelve gage shot gun and boxes of buckshot, When dog crosses your property line kill it. I'm a pit supporter, but I agree with that recommendation. If the dog's in your yard it means the owner is one of the bad pit owners who doesn't know or care what they're doing. Shoot to kill.
