The Dog of Peace strikes again. Don’t worry the pit brigade will be alone soon to talk about how pits are no more dangerous than beagles.
Are you aware that when a Chicago-based pit rescue group examined dog attack stories in the media, they found 60 cases where other breeds (including breeds not remotely similar to pits, such as a couple of Labs) had been identified as pit bulls?
I honestly did not see that when I posted my comment. I almost added something very similar, too.
Now you know that Shetland pony PROVOKED those sweet doggies!
It teased them, made’em mad, made them attack in self-defense!
Thats sarcasm, of course.
I love dogs, think they’re better than some people-BUT- I don’t think there’s any hope for this breed. Too much violence, aggression and derangement has been bred into the bloodlines. I don’t think it’s possible to find a pitt bull that has no aggressive, violent ancestors in its bloodline.
And genetics being what it is, traits from generations back can be inherited. DNA remembers.
