Thanks for the ‘farmersonly’ site. I’ve moved to Iowa and tho I live in town, I’m surrounded by farms and have students who live on farms. I’d wouldn’t mind meeting a farmer, a nice regular guy, at all.

I think Iowa is great! I am from a river town in Illinois and have been across the Mississippi to Iowa a lot.

The company I work for is a farm commodities trader. I'm one of the IT guys there, but I know a lot of farmers. The sort of people a loyal son of the south like me should associate with. In any case, the farmer types are very 'salt of the earth' kind of people. Finer folks are hard to find.
