Joseph Klinkman Told Police He Was Worried Sample Would Test Positive For Drugs
(CBS) VALPARAISO, Ind. -- Two urine samples that were due for drug testing were stolen from a Valparaiso community overnight Tuesday.
Joseph Klinkman, 23, who had provided one of the samples earlier in the day, admitted to burglarizing the office and taking the samples, police said. Klinkman told police he was concerned with the sample testing positive and decided to retrieve the sample that evening.
The two urine samples were the only two items that were missing after the burglary, police said.
Klinkman allegedly broke into the Portage County PACT office, at 254 Morgan Ave. in Valparaiso, Ind., by entering window with an air conditioning unit, police said.
PACT operates community-based corrections programs geared toward youth, adults, prisoners, ex-offenders and others affected by the criminal justice system, according to PACTs Web site.
Police arrested Klinkman and took him to Porter County Jail, where he was charged with burglary.
You have no Constitutional right to your own pee!
Oh like none of us have ever stolen pee.
sheesh.
Stupid move, but at least there was some misguided logic to it. From the headline, I feared some pervert was collecting the urine samples of total strangers.
Maybe he was framed. It’s possible that he wasn’t afraid of getting caught “hot” but he was simply....
Piss poor!
