We had 8 inches Saturday night. Almost 24 hours later, and not much has been done even on the main roads. I think the cities are waiting until early Monday morning to start, and avoid Sunday OT rates.
I'm also the only person on the help desk tonight, and it was 4WD all the way, on city streets. The only cars out are either 4WD, or idiots in little cars. And half the 4WD drivers are idiots, too. I saw one guy zooming around from lane to lane like he was on a race track.

Idiots, indeed. They seem to have the idea that 4WD means they can do whatever they want behind the wheel, and that they'll still have full control. They forget that 4WD don't mean diddly-squat when they hit a patch of ice. They'll be sliding just the same as the little old lady they blew by down the street.
