Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Lucky you. Around here, we can't hunt them, only hit them with our cars.
Been wayyyy too long since I watched The Movies. Sounds like a good New Year’s activity. ;-)
I’m thinkin’ I’d be with Corin where the Arch is concerned...eek!
Great pictures! I can’t get over how much thekidz are growin’ up, especially thegirl - she’s quite the young lady these days!
Here’s hoping the worst of the weather misses you!
Heh...I'm thinking "Second Week of Deer Camp"...
Lookin good, Hon!! Glad you made it home before the storm!
But because we had to wander Cambridge and then park 6 blocks away, we were almost a 1/2 hour late for the concert, arriving just before Intermission. Since we were already in the back, we got to the head of the line for the CDs, and I was able to replace my old one that was scratched. Fortunately, the second half of the concert included some of our favorite songs, and the crowd was even invited to sing along on "What Child is This?". When the concert was over, Clare and I went up got the autograph of the new director of the group. Then we got to walk the 6 blocks back to the car. We were just thankful it wasn't any colder!
I is tired.
I bet! Glad you caught some of the concert. Aren't you glad you don't live in that area?
I'll second that. Thekidz are getting *tall*. Gorgeous family you have there.
Morning - great picture of you and the family. Quite a view from the top of the arch, isn’t it?
You know I think color is a bit bright but it’ll probably be fine when they finish painting the wall. It actually looks pretty close to color our nephew’s wife chose to paint their dining room.
Good Morning ALL:
Well, looks like we dodged the snow express here; the four to eight inches turned out to be about quarter to half inch. We were actually hoping for a bit more so gypsy could get some traction in the yard.
2J: great work you’re doing, hope OK gets the power back on soon.
There's a view?
[shudder]
One of my “holiday” vacation plans is to watch themovies again. You’re right Rosie, it’s been too long.
Almost four years since Entmoot. Unbelievable.
I’ve put this off for far too long...I’m leafing...
Morning - heh, how’s it feel to have ‘The Performances’ over and done with?
Got a couple three things to do today, timing of which is subject to change upon our whims.
We had two ‘hostage lunches’ at work last week and got two next week.
Grumbling at the office about not having Christmas Eve off...
“I suppose you want the whole day off, eh, Bob Crachit?”
Heh. People have already started leaving on their Christmas holidays.
Okay....got muh coffee, The Cat is sacked out on the couch. I’m ready to watch some more snow falling.
Hmmmmmm......cat tracks down my sidewalk.
~sip~
My gosh, they’ve grown! Bittygirl looks like she’s completely past the baby stage now. *snif*
Fine lookin’ kids, both of ‘em!
Seem this was last week.
Sure does!
good lookin’ kidz bro!
