I dunno why, but this one sooooo cracks me up...

I like this one, too, also for reasons I couldn't explain.

Thanks for the update. We’ll keep praying.

Don't think we've seen The Snowman.

Oh, gag, I’d forgotten about that one. Thankfully, I don’t listen to radio stations, so I’m not subjected to the typical ‘popular Holiday’ music. I have plenty of CDs, so I can listen to whatever I want. ;o)

John Lennons Happy Christmas.I don't know that one... or at least, I think I don't. Can you find a link to lyrics...?
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Here ya go...
So this is Christmas
And what have you done
Another year over
A new one just begun
And so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear ones
The old and the young
A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let’s hope it’s a good one
Without any fear
And so this is Christmas
For weak and for strong
For rich and the poor ones
The war is so long
And so happy Christmas
For black and for white
For yellow and red ones
Let’s stop all the fight
A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let’s hope it’s a good one
Without any fear
Usually the chorus gets repeated about a zillion times more. Meanwhile, in the background, people chant “War is over if you want it, war is over now...” on and on and on.

The Snowman is one you HAVE to see. It's not religious, it's more a secular 'Snowman and Santa' story, but it is a feast for the eyes and ears. It's amusing, because the first scene is David Bowie in an attic talking about the story as if it had happened to him. After that, it's all animation.

Oh yeah, "Happy Christmas (War is Over)". I knew it by the longer name.
To make up for making you think about it again, try some Rolling Stones instead!
To: LSAggie
It’s in two weeks.
I’m very calm about it. This irritates others. I apologize for not being a nervous wreck.

This irritates others. LOL - The ol' "If you're not freaked-out, stressed-out, and crazy-eyed like me, YOU'RE NOT WORKING HARD ENOUGH!!!" argument.
I get that around the office a lot.

Usually the chorus gets repeated about a zillion times more Ah yes, I especially love to hate that one.
The one I hate more is McCartney's (surprise surprise) "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas-time." UNGH!
The one thing of Lennon's that I really, really love from his solo career is "Working Class Hero." Heck of a cynical song. I sang it in my mind whenever I ran into my she-witch former supervisor.

I have a pic of my Oliver cat that is not dissimilar to that one. I want to caption it, saying, “No, srsly. U R Dismist already.”
