"Bitchin!"
Sedona is where the nutcases go after they graduate from college or retire, but the college kids with Daddy’s cash are all in Flag. The new age shops, the vegetarian cafes, and the organic artisian pizza joints tend to be busting at the seams with customers. The shopkeepers will literally bow to you when you come in and say stuff like, “Namaste” or “Goddess’ blessings upon you.” It’s a trip. Don’t know that they’re quite so over the top now as they were ten years ago... but they make for great characters in a story.
Always wear at least a baseball cap when I go out in the sun. Getting headaches is no fun.
I don’ wanna go to werk...
I don’ wanna go to werk...
I don’ wanna go to werk...
I don’ wanna go to werk...
Me neither....I’m too tired.
I’m here and I wanna go home.
Me either, let’s stay home.
If I work for four hours, I can count it as a complete day ... maybe I can try that ...
Izzit Friday?
Well, I’m here.
Gots two relatively short meetings today (in theory). But, then again, these people make my skin crawl.
All in all, I’d rather have a root canal.
Four hours a complete day? Sign me up there!
If you didn't, I'd cover them for you. :~)
Good morning everyone!
Batten down your hatches, Florida! You may get a hurricane season after all.
First time in two years, but we won't know for sure for a week.
Great gravy!
The roadside tribute went well...lots of people showed up. But we were in the 103 degree heat for about 3 hours and nearly killed me.
I still don’t feel that great.
LOL! I love his expression.
LOL! I didn’t know that about Flagstaff! We never really went into town there, we just went one evening to go to the Lowell Observatory, and we drove by there once, going out to Meteor Crater. But you’re right, the New Age crowd in Sedona is a little older. Caters to the demographic, I guess; older, wealthier folks who can afford to buy a house there!
I know it...that crossed my mind more than once yesterday.
Supposed to get up to 105 here today. We’re not going anywhere.
