Yeah, English is a perfectly logical language - except for the exceptions. For instance: make, take, bake. Past tense: made, baked, took. Huh?

We’re going to an A&M football game this Saturday. Steve’s going to come too, it seems. He is in the process of setting up an interview with a company in Houston for this Friday.
Probably not just Latin, but the Norman French, which was the language of the Court. There were some Kings and Queens of England who never spoke 'English', because it was, as you said, deemed to be the 'common' speech.

He’s started the pre-surg prep.
Most of the exceptions come from the oldest words in the language, the most Germanic part. English started using adjectives and plurals sooner than other languages, doing away with special forms of verbs and nouns, at least in newer "accessions".
English was also the first language to adopt the Roman alphabet in an attempt to advance written English as the supply of Latin speakers and writers shrank. Everybody else west of Greece was still hacking away at runes in their native languages.

Things are looking very good. Steve has THREE strong job possibilities and the really bad news that we had a few weeks back...where he had to go and talk to the benefits department....apparently he wasn’t the only one upset because they re-instated everyone they cut.
PRAISE the Lord...it’s a great day!
He sounds like a different person. Now if we can just verify that he’s healthy, we’re good to go.

No tellin’ why, but apparently some folks were pretty unhappy about it and perhaps flexed a bit more muscle than we have.
I don’t know for sure though, but they just called Steve out of the blue and told him.

We started our home school this week too and the boys are just doing great!

It’s not really a mohawk...he just has dark hair in the center of his head. The hair is actually cut in a circle...a military hair cut.
It’s just the way he sun is shining on it that it looks like that.
