Well if it were Jan 1 and the resolutions had kicked in I would be settling for repainting the base and getting a frosted shade from Home Depot.

Hey, we had the mason jar lights, too; one outside each door to the deck from the kitchen and den, and one just outside the basement door. We bought new fixtures for the front of the house, and we’re going to re-plate the old ones from the front and move them to the back. They’re larger than the mason jar lights, too, so they’ll look more in proportion to the house.

Well, approaching a steady English setter, 20 gauge double in hand, waiting for the explosion of quail from the brush, executing a clean double and watching the setter bring the quail to hand is a moment that memories are made of.
Or watching the Canada geese set their wings, listening to whimper of the Lab next to you, then raising up, picking the lead, following through, shucking the action and picking another banking away. When the echoes die, the dog leaps up and heads into the water, retrieving both to hand. Another golden memory.

Well folks, I gotta go get ready fer the holiday festivities (sip). See y'all next year. But afore I go let me leave you with the newest proverb from the Stormhands' household.
It is better to light two candles than to curse the dog farts.
I'm just sayin' is all.
Happy New Year!

I'd recommend less vegetable matter... more meat. ;~)

I don’t know if you can tell the board is a little wet under her... she had ~wet~ paws... ;~)
To: RosieCotton
We would, but we don't want all that coffee machine stuff around.
To: HairOfTheDog
Wet from outside, or did she fish a little?
