However, very little of what I need to do needs to be done at work.
Can I have a vacation to prepare for vacation?
Heh...that was bizarre. I swear I’d left my elven cloak at home, too.
Order in, I guess! Maybe watch something.
See - I’m completely sick of having the reputation as the troublesome one. Each of the testing and evaluation organizations has their own mission, role, and function. Current fight is with another org not understanding why my current org doesn’t want to do their job for them. Yet, I’m the big bad *****. URGH!!
Today, the walmart run. Tomorrow, the oil change. And hope the cold goes away fast.
So what are your travel plans?
Being the one who wants to see things done correctly is a heavy burden.
No, no, Lil'freeper. It's not what you say, it's the way you say it. /s
*shakes head* I only get shrill after saying the same thing for four years. Just sayin’. :)
It’s just soooo much easier to blame the messenger than listen to the message.
I get picked up at home at three in the morning on Friday. Get into Oakland around nine. Do the same thing in reverse on the 26th. For Christmas Day, we’re going to brother’s in-laws. That’s as much as I know.
Hopefully it’s all pretty low-key.
Fun!
I haven’t plotted out what time we’re leaving Saturday morning yet to be at ExGeeEye’s wedding in time but as the whole trip is over 12 hours, plus wedding, I’m guessing we’ll get in to my folks’ sometime before midnight. We’re driving back on the 26th.
You just want to make sure that they'll remember you, when you're gone. ;o)
Whoa! That red one is snazzy!! I’m sure any secretary who had that one on her desk thought she was the coolest!
It’s purty, for sure. If I was an actual collector instead of just picking them up ‘cause I like writing with ‘em, I’d probably start with the 30’s and 40’s Coronas. They’re relatively common in good condition and therefore not really any more expensive than more recent machines.
Like my *only* 55 year old Sterling...
Yeah, this won’t be nearly as long of a trip as the one I took to go home this fall. But it does start awfully early. At least I don’t hafta drive that early.
mmmmm...30 and 40 Coronas
what? oh....nevermind...
*snort*
Oh my.
:)
